Excess charges!
I have airtel connection with two yrs validity, on 22nd aug excess charges levied i regd complaint on24th aug, on 4th sept charges corrected but excess amount no refunded. I regd complaint on 13th & 17th but nothing done so far, my std charges are also deducted more than my plan i have prepaid connection, yet airtel is claiming one of the best managed company, customer care dept is zero there is no system to handle customer complaints.

Ð?alsely downloading time
At 4 pm on 19 sept i got message that thanks for using airtel live. And 30 rs are deducted through my balance for downloading at 11 am on same day. But real fact is that i am not downloaded any themes for which company charged to me. Again the fact is that there is no activation of airtel live on my mobile and this message is sent by customer care to me at 1.53 pm on 20 sept. If there is not activation of airtel live service how they deduct my 30 rs for downloading of thems on airtel live.

Downloading time told by customer care is 11 am on 19 sept. And airtel live service activated message is at 4.18 pm. How it is possible to download anything on airtel live without activation of service. Suggest anyone.

Multiple telemarketing calls
I got a call from miss pooja from Airtel marketing to get package of calls (mobile to mobile, mobile to landline with in punjab) worth Rs.1000/- for just Rs 500/-, 15 days back. That call was recorded one. I told her that i am ready to take package but this should start from my next billing cycle i.e. 14th of september. She told me that i will get message when the package will start. I got another call of confirmation from Airtel marketing, they confirm that i have given the option of the package. Again this call was internal recorded one. Than i contacted 121 where Mr. Amit singh told me that he won't be able to do much. He suggested me this site for my complaint registration. I got such calls number of times, i refused to accept but when i accepted the offer they refused to entertain.

Poor service!
I had a post paid connection from Airtel Pune. When I was shifting to Banglaore, I went to nearest airtel office i.e. Aditya Agency, Krishna kewal Commercial Complex, Next ICICI bank, Kondhwa Road, Pune 411048 and gave all the required doc. They said that it will be converted within 3 days.even after 3-6 month my mobile is not working. When I again went to the same office they are asking me to submit all the documents once again.Problem did not stopped here... When I went with all the document then they said that she (Nayab) said that she can not take the papers as office is going under renovation. You will have to come back and give the paper. Magic thing about that office is : every time I visit the same branch new manager will be there.
I got a call from airtel pune person named as Swati she said that she will check with other retailer and let me know but may be she has also changed the job...

So if you want to change a job involve in my mobile connection problem you will get another job like 6-8 people have done. Thanks for reading this but this is not a story its a real pain some one getting in keeping his old no# with him.

Airtel GPRS connection problems
I have a postpaid connection of Airtel because i intended to use the edge advantage that airtel provides.

I got my Mobile Office services activated however I could not save the settings sent from the customer service. Then I went thr Airtel outlet which is in Resindencey Road, there a gentleman was trying do the settings by manualy. Even after that the Mobile office was not working. immediately I called up the customer service and asked them to cancel the service. One gentle lady spoke with me and she confirmed me that the service is cancelled and I will not be charged for anything. Now after 2 month I am seeing my bills they have charged for 3 months.

Then when I called the customer service today, a gentle man said your request for cancellation was not received. So cant help.

Without even using the service I am being charged around 1400 + Taxes etc...

But the service is not there in my mobile...

Is this the way till date didn't manage to access the facility on PC. I can access it on mobile. I've tried it on almost 3 different handsets, still none of the customer care agent is able to help me with computer settings.

That was it, when I decided to write a complaint against this. It's just not working out - the attitude of the staff, how ill informed they are... what are they doing there in customer care department when they cannot cater for customers complaint, else don't even know where to direct them or guide them, properly.

I can't understand whom i should approach to get my problem solved. Anyone suggest.

Worst support!
Hearing of the GPRS service of airtel I tried to activate it... the service got activated within 2 hours and the deduction started but the settings were not sent to me... Have been trying since last 2 days but in vain... the only reply i get is do this and that, restart your phone... call the other person or try after 4 hours... Boss I should be getting an sms from you and if not tell me the manual settings the workaround is very simple but... when the Customer care representatives know nothing how can they help... at last am thinking to deactivate the GPRS...

Good Luck Airtel and be the Top Service Provider... but if a company with the highest no of complaints can be at top I could just pity... Its a shame...!!!

Unsolicited calls!
Inspite of activating don not disturb, I'm receiving promotional calls. On complaint I found that their customer service agent didn't forward my request properly. They want me to re re-register and they will take again 45 days to update my request. What more, their customer service gave me wrong info about how to proceed about it. I checked out their website and forwarded the message. Hope they check my request this time.

Poor service!
I am PALANISAMY.I have got active SIM (NAME REGISTERED -Ramkumar.J) before one months. I sent SMS to 6123 to activate MO which is for browsing on 15 th sep 2007 through daily pack. After i received the settings, it was not connected from afternoon itself i was making call to them. They said ok switch off your mobile for 5 mins.15 mins, 2 hrs. I tried up to night 1pm, no use of them. One more thing already i browsed three times in earlier days. To know more about them and their quality of infraction I sent SMS on another one day on 17 th Sep 2007, that day also happened the same thing only. Moreover, I sent my query to 121. No one make call to me within 24 hrs. Per SMS to 6123 Rs.20 for 24 hrs (in INR). Which Department will take action central Govt's Information & Broadcasting Department OR Telecommunication Department. NO one can take action against it. Why? That is india's fate on earth due to weak (poor-selfish) administration only. If anyone will have that Willpower to take action against illegal, pls inform me.

Fraud and cheating!
I got a call from airtel executive & was said that my number is selected & I would get free download & rental for hello tunes for 1 month. I probably checked with in 5-6 time & he assured it was free & also helped me download a tune, but in next second when I checked the balance they robbed 30Rs from by balance. I tried to contact the call center & they just reduced to take the complaint & said they don't entertain those kind of complaints.

Airtel doesn't seems to have any ethics & the customer service is pathetic. All I want is action to be taken against such customer service agents who rob the customer & Airtel should also be brought to the justice for robbing its customer.
