Denied of lifetime recharge!
Everytime when I try to have lifetime recharge, I was told that it would be possible after two days. But assurance receive from executive personal never realized. Why it is not possible to recharge for a lifetime???

Theft of paid talk time!
I have an Airtel connection 9845216143. Some days back I got a SMS from no. 56465 informing that my account has been debited for Rs.99, under a plan. I never authorized such a debit. Since then I have been receiving unsolicited cricket news at all odd times. When I wanted to send SMS to 56465 to stop this, the message is not being forwarded.
Beware people!

Poor service!
I just got frustrated with the Airtel mobile service. Company got disconnected my parents mobile service without any intimation to me, which I was activated in Pune & sent to my native. I was unable to give my important message to my parents when I was on office tour from out out of state. Customer care also unable to give proper reason as well as the contact no of Airtel Gallery at Kalyaninagar Pune where I got activated my SIM.
Don't Trust Airtel.

Poor service!
I have been suffering for quite some time with Airtel and the service. My initial complaints were regarding Hutch numbers that for some reasons were always congested and would be rejected from my phone, I never got to hear the dial tone itself. Knowing a little about telephony, this points to a congestion problem on the PSTN or backbone switching network. This got resolved after quite some follow up. Now intermittently I get this for sometimes outstation numbers(STD call) and others at sporadic times.
Obviously I'm guessing that any switching network will have capabilities to check number of calls dropped due to congestion. What really sucks is that customer care has NO OPTION for service related queries, I have not been able to find any such option in 121. I'm at a loss at figuring out how to report this problem.
What is frightening with this issue is that if I have an emergency in my own home, I really don't know how long it may take before I get through to other people. And emergencies is one of the primary reasons I got a cell phone in the first place.

Poor service!
Airtel is horrible in providing services. Three days back my cell phone stopped working and by putting in my friend's sim card i realized that my phone was ok but there was some problem with my sim. When i called up customer care they refused to accept the problem firstly and said it as a problem with my handset. Then finally after talking to their manager they asked me to go to an airtel outlet and get my sim replaced. They gave me an address of the outlet. When i went there i found that it was under renovation. This happened 3 times that 3 of their outlets were under renovation for which their customer care gave me the addresses. My phone was in this condition for 2 days by then and i finally had to get a temporary number bcoz my no being a corporate connection i was facing a lot of problem. Finally yesterday i was able to find an outlet which was open and i got my sim changed. They told me it would start working in 4 hours time. After 5 hours also it was not working. The outlet owner stopped picking up my phone. when i called up customer care they refused to do anything. I talked to their shift manager last night and then she said it would only be done in 24 hours. When i told her i wanted to talk to her manager she said i would get a callback in hour which i haven't got even till now. Today also my phone is still not working. They have horrible services and i would actually get some other providers connection. I have been facing a lot of problem with airtel lately.

Worst service - never go with Airtel!
I am pasting email send to representatives of airtel. till date no reply.
Dear sir,
I am really not satisfied with your Airtel representatives.
I am from Pune. I have given one written complaint in your Vega Center, Pune on 1st Sept. 2007.
They told me that they will process that application/Complaint and let me know after 2 days.
But as of today (10th Sept. 2007) I am not able to get any feedback from your representatives.
I am tired with this kind of service.

From May 16 to June 16 my balance was automatically deducted thru GPRS that was Rs. 360/-
From 16 May to till date I m struggling to get may balance back.
From that day i was unable to use my card for internet which i had taken just for net.
Following are the peoples who know my case but they are not cooperating me.

Now I am fedup with your people & I want My money Back in cash/cheque
because I don't Want to use your card.
This was my first Experience with Airtel & last also. I have wasted my Rs.800/- on Airtel.
The kind of language which your people used is very rough. I personally feel that You hired people from Slum are with quota system.

Fraud and cheating!
Had paid airtel an amount of Rs 1000 to get internet services but technician stated no availability in Ardee City Gurgaon. Waiting for re payment for 20 days now and today they stated it will take another month. Do you wait for your customers to pay their phone bill after so long and you charge them a fine amount. Will you pay me 1100 with one hundred rupees fine for another month's delay? PATHETIC Customer Service and I shall let all my colleagues know that they shouldn't avail Airtel.

Automatic deduction of money!
Rs99 have been detected from my dad's balance for twenty twenty world cup scores. But i haven't. They state that i have accepted the service (where a customer service rep have spoken to me - reg). But i have nt received any call from them.When i spoke with Customer care they said that i will get a call back within 24-48 hrs. but no calls. Still i have made a call to them reg this they said nothing cant be done - rudely. I asked how to stop this service since it disturbs my dad a lot, who is a Heart patient (a basic mobile user - uses only to answer calls). It gives him a lot of trouble. Still trying out to stop these services!

Poor service!
I had never ever SUBSCRIBED for any thing on my mobile no. 9952038879. I got a message thanking me for using Airtel services on 10 th & soon after I got another message stating that my subscription to Twenty-20 Cricket has been activated and Rs. 30/- has been deducted from my account. THIS IS MY FIRST COMPLAINT.
SECOND ONE is on Airtel customer care. I had called customer care for first time for informing them about the same on 10th evening. It got disconnected after informing me that they need 24 hrs time to verify the same. I don't understand why they need so much time on these days when there is facility to find the same in minutes. I was asked to hold line for 2-3 times for checking the same for my service help desk. I contacted the customer care next day (on 11th ) 4-5 times. But, I feel that they had INTENTIONALLY disconnected my call on the moment I reveal that it is regarding a complaint already registered.
It is a pity that CUSTOMER CARE of Bharti Group's ( India's largest GSM-based mobile phone service provider) & India's great entrepreuner Mr. Sunil Mittal's (called as originator of cellular phone revolution in India) concern Bharati Airtel is at one end.

Poor service!
Hi this is to inform you that airtel customer care staff is highly irresponsible, including executives to managers. For once you can get rid of the worst but making these customer care people work is one big task. I had put my request 13846100 dated 8th september 2007, in customer care to discontinue my mobile number. Till now that is 13th September 2007 it has not got discontinued and I have been calling up executives to managers time and again and telling the whole story again and again. These people are not understanding hindi/english/punjabi. The customer care department should be sued for not responding to complaints in appropriate manner and addressing the needs of the customers. To hell with Airtel!!!
