Unauthorized billing!
I was a prepaid airtel account holder for 09810005760. This no got activated on 15th of Feb 2007 and was issued on Ajay Dhyani's name. On 31st of MARCH, it got transferred on my name. The 1st billing, of Rs 1095 was given by Airtel from 11th of Feb to 10th of March, out of which Rs1000 was paid. Instead of starting the next billing from 11th of March onwards, they gave a bill from 5th of March, that means double billing for 7 days. I asked them to rectify it, but till date I haven't received the genuine bill. The trouble doesn't end here. For all these months, they keep on charging Ajay dhyani also for the same no,that is double billing for all these months. This connection was surrendered on 16th of April. But inspite of my repeated actions, they dint do anything positive towards settling this matter and gave me a court summon also. It is a highly unethical and immoral action on their part!

Sim card registration failure
It is been observed that my Airtel sim card is blocked, heard from a customer care executive it was done by mistake and it will be reactivated within 45 Hours.
After 48 hours again i tried calling Airtel call center to know the status, now the executive says i need to go to a airtel outlet and pay for a duplicate simcard and take a new simcard.
Its really bad on Airtel, almost 3 years this connection is been used, this is the service rendered to a client of Airtel.

Fraud & cheating!
My name is Rajwinder Singh and I am a resident within distt. Amritsar (Punjab). I took a postpaid mobile connection from AIRTEL in FEB. 2006 ,with special corporate advantage plan. Main purpose of my connection was to avail GPRS at Rs. 99/- per month.After six months Gprs charges were Rs. 300/-per month. Along with this company started value added services like local network calling pack, international calling pack and many more stupidities without informing me. I was only aware of this after the bill in my hands.When I objected they try to show the benefits to me.I told them in straight words I want to use this connection only for GPRS.But company cheated me in one or other way and my average bill was in excess of Rs.- 1000/- One thousand.After 12 months in FEB. 2007 I dropped earlier GPRS plan and asked for Rs.700/-plan for two months.After two months they simply converted my plan to Rs.-600/- per month,without informing me. I emailed airtel to disconnect my services. They said they will reduce my bill by Rs.-200/- and asked me to deposit bill.I replied they have already cheated me enough. Now after 15 months they sent a legal notice to deposit RS. 900/- and litigation cost RS.550/- As I have enough proof of cheating, I am thinking to drag them in CONSUMER COURT.
My suggestion to all INDIANS is to never TRUST on AIRTEL .They are no. 1 network of cheating and telling lies in INDIA.

Airtel stole my money!
I bought an airtel connection in april 2007 with advance rental payment of 1198 for 1 year. However the sim was deactivated after 1 month quoting the reason that address cannot be verified. Ironically I have received bills on this address which i have also paid. The billing is also screwed up as they kept asking for 1198 rs which i have already paid. (Which the cust care executives have also acknowledged.) After talking to Cust care I have received 4 sims till now none of which have been activated.
The executives are rude, lost and have no idea about whats going on. I think they sit with chalks and slates. No centralized system, no database updates. Every single Cust care exec seems to behave like Sunil mittal. The company will surely go to dogs if this is how they treat their customers.
Its high time the company top management starts taking interest in something called "customer Satisfaction" which I guess is a non-existent word for them.

Poor service!
I tried to recharge my Mobile with your Bank's online re-charge thru Net Banking for a sum of Rs. 121 for Airtel Number- 9840612968 today (07-09-2007 at 5.50 PM). The Net Banking session expired in between the Transaction itself, for no reason. My Account is debited with the Recharge amount, but I have not got the recharge on my Mobile.

Worst customer service!
I feel Airtel has the worst customer service. I am from bangalore and i have a prepaid connection. The validity of the card is till 25 jan 2009 and i receive calls on it. But i am unable to make any outgoing calls. I approached an Airtel office regarding this issue but they had no clue of what the problem was and the response from them was "System error", that too their response was not proper and they never seem to be customer friendly. I have never experienced such a bitter experience. I hate these mentally retarded idiots, who doesn't even know how to treat a customer and they say they are customer care executives. They don't even know a sh8t of what "customer care" means.

Poor service!
I am really disturbed by this company airtel. I bought a prepaid number. I take there net service MO for week they charged 105 rs on 2 sept my balance left after deduction was 68.95 rs. But on 6 th sept they deducted this whole balance without reason. When i called the customer care they have no proper answer to balance deduction. I called tree times but there customer care executives are giving different answers some saying its charged for MO services. Some telling i know her name samita that balance is deducted because of fault recharges before. But i had never recharged number before deduction. I will never trust the products of airtel in future. I will try to go to consumer court it is not a matter of 69 rs. These guys are cheating there customers.

Network problem!
I am a customer of Airtel Maharashtra-Goa Circle.
1) I never receive any calls on my cell while in Vashi(Navi Mumbai) even in the Full network coverage. Even the Balance Inquiry (*123#) also fails.
2) I am not able to make or receive calls when I am in Vashi (Navi Mumbai).
I get message "Error In Connection" or "Network Busy" when i try to make calls. I can make Out going calls only after trying 8-10 times.
3) The IVRS system at customer care number (121 / 9890098900) is ridiculous and faulty. When I Chose to speak to Customer Care Executive, I hear message "This Number doesn't Exist". This is ridiculous!!!
I have been reporting these complaints to the customer care for past one month, but have not received any solution from them. I am not able to contact any customer care executive to explain my problems because of above mentioned problem. If I call Customer Care Mumbai circle then they are not ready to entertain me.
It seems that Airtel don't care at all about their customers. Airtel's service is totally hopeless and ridiculous.

Plan change of my 1 year validity prepaid card
I bought a prepaid card (starter pack)of AIRTEL on 30th August 2007, and recharged with Rs. 246/- to change my plan as Airtel-to-Airtel 0.30 ps at any time, Airtel-to-Any mobile is 0.59 ps, first 365 sms free per year with a rate of 5 ps with a daily rental of Rs. 1/- and also night talk at 0.39 ps to any mobile. This plan is named as "NR365." For the first three days there is no problem in this plan. The outgoing call charges are calculated as per the above mentioned rate. But on 3rd September my plan automatically got changed to another plan that is named as "Student 365" in which the outgoing call charges are about Rs. 1/- for any mobile in my circle and also with a daily rental of Rs. 1/-.
I immediately made a call to Customer Care, and the executive told that this change of plan is caused by their system fault. Each person asks time of about 24-hours to change my plan to "NR365," but there was no response after 24-hours and my plan is still under "Student 365." I made several calls in which they only tell that they had forwarded the compliant to higher officials and they will take necessary action. There is no message of call from any Airtel Customer Support executive to explain my present status.
Below I mention the name of the executives who made no solution to my query. The name of the executives, the time and date of contacting them as follows:
1. Siva (09:30 a.m. September 4, 2007)
2. Arun (01:10 p.m. September 4, 2007)
3. Kavita (03:30 p.m. September 5, 2007)
4. Saravanan (11:20 p.m. September 5, 2007)
5. Kumar (09:39 a.m. September 6, 2007)
6. Bala (01:00 p.m. September 6, 2007)
The last person I contacted is Anand at 09:15 p.m. September 6, 2007, he asked me 24-hours for change in plan.
Finally I request you to notify my problem and take necessary steps to change my plan to "NR365."

Poor service!
I have applied for internet service on my prepaid mobile, unable to get GPRS setting from customer executives. I was told to go personally to Aritel customer service center. There also the person responsible doesn't know setting for my mobile 3120 Nokia set. Now I don't know what to do? Airtel already deducted charges for providing internet service on my mobile.
