Expiry schemmes
This is case of mistrust, and Airtel mobile service providers are playing with the customers trust. Trust is very important between two parties. Whether it is local service providers or government.
When you have introduced a lifetime scheme (student offer) quoting incoming call are free for lifetime. Provided you have to power your account for every 6 months.
Today also in my mobile when I dial *112# following message is displayed “ Your Service expiry date is 01/Jan/2025 and Your Airtime expiry date is 01/Jan/2025” along with hidden rider unless I go for power charging every now and then.
The dealers also says that you pay 500 bugs I will make it 6 months validity. Whom to believe? If the policy framed do not help customers then they are not polices at all. Again it is ridiculous that if you say lifetime why is that 2025 is restricted. That means I will die on 2025.
OK we agree and thinking that the scheme will be good. However, after 6 months you change your chameleon color that power validity is only for 3 months. What is the Guaranty that you will not again change to 1 month, or even less than that also.
Therefore, it is observed that you operate so flexible scheme that customer will get ultimate confusion and lodge complaint like this.
What solution lies in bringing trust in Indian Airtel Company?
Moreover, the customers are exploited in day light.

Complain against Airtel sim blocking system for prepaid connection
On my way back from my office on 1/09/07 , Saturday, in between 8.00 to 8.45pm somebody has stolen my cell phone with airtel sim from my bag. I immediately called the customer care personnel and requested to block my sim card but they declined the request and advised to produce a general diary memo of police to nearby airtel outlet, since it was too late so I followed the procedure next day first hour and went to nearby airtel outlet. Here they refused me to take any action on pretext of being Sunday and absence of there stuffs. Then once again I call the customer care and had a talk to a senior personnel and informed him the whole matter and request to block the sim, but unfortunately he rejected my request. He informed me that this sim blocking system is applicable only for postpaid connection but not for prepaid one and my connection being a prepaid he could not able to take any action.
My question is why this discrimination is going on and why airtel outlets refused to take any action on pretext of the day being the Sunday while they kept there outlets open and selling sim for new connection and that are being activated on Sundays in spite of it is a holiday. Having faced such incidence all my believe and respect to airtel, who claims to be the best and largest service and network provider, has been shattered.

Service problems
Hi all. This is regarding quality of airtel service in maharashtra. I'm saying maharashtra as I'm from the maharashtra circle, so I'm not going 2 comment on other service circles. The service S**K's...
The call drops are frequent, so frequent in specific areas, that while talking in my car, i actually tell the other person that as we talk the call will get cut, do not bother, i'll call back....
Its so damn embarrassing doing it time & again...the customer care rep's are very courteous, very helpful, but do not have enough information about what their job is all about... Absolutely no technical knowledge.
I don't blame the rep's, its just the kind of training they must have got.
AIRTEL desperately needs to clean up its act & concentrate more on customer satisfaction & customer retention rather that dish out some cheap schemes to attract more customers. What is airtel going to earn from the number's game when virtually every second customer they have swears at their service.

About deduction in my account
my Airtel prepaid mobile no. is :9867993590
15 Rs. daily deducted from my mobile prepaid account for gprs mobile office services but i already deactivate that on 24 aug.
actually i started the service on 23 rd aug and deactivate it by sending sms. after that there is no deduction in my account for at least two days . But after that there is daily 15 rs. deducted from my account. i called customer care for so many times but i wont get any appropriate response. my complain no :7334098229

Scam and cheating!
Despite having registered in writing on change of tao imperilment plan, the authorities failed to implement and billed me a higher amount in the August plan which I was holding earlier due to large number of call anticipated.
No action has yet been taken. This is certainly not expected dof Bharti Telecom.

Poor service!
A prepaid Airtel connection taken on my mother's name on 30 th June, 2007. After activation, it worked quite well for 2-3 weeks. Then it disconnected and whenever anybody dials this number a message comes i.e. error in network connection. On inquiry and advice from Airtel Mobile Dealer we deposited application with ID proof. More than 15 days past, the mobile is still not connected.

Serious billing problem
Airtel has a serious problem with their bill payment system for add-on connections. This would affect those who are making an online payment. Problem has been reported to Airtel and the ticket number Airtel has provided is: 13615899. I have also provided the payment reference number: 7441286823.
Whenever an add-on connection is taken, Airtel associates a second account number to the second phone number. Subsequently when a payment is made using the second account number, though the payment gets processed and debited from your account, Airtel has no clue or trace of the payment.
Additionally the bigger problem is the fact that the customer care is not ready to understand and respond to the problem. I reported the problem long back and subsequently I provided all the details they needed but no one has responded or are aware of the details I submitted.
This is such a frustrating experience and I never imagined this is the way they treat customers who are using their services for almost 7 years now.

Non working of cell phone connection
Student of second year BE(Comp.Sc.) at BITS PILANI (RAJASTHAN). M.No. 9950521125 (Rajasthan) Pre paid. My son purchased Pre paid Air Tel connection from a subagent at Pilani on 30th July, 2007.
He submitted his ID card and other relevant documents as demanded by the selling agent/shopkeeper on 21-08-2007 as the shop remained closed for days together. He promised that o/g and i/c calls will start working with in three days as he has couriered those documents to Delhi.
But till date both I/C and O/G facilities are barred. I want to know why it has not ye been restored? I will have to move to the DG Public Grievances Cell Delhi with a copy to Minster of Communication and CMD TRAI Delhi.

Block services without any reason!
I have an Airtel connection under ph no. 09896031807. company fill up all the formalities. I have give my ID as my driving License Issued by SDO(C) Jind. company Agent Inquired my address and Verify all the document. He Meet me personally also. but Now company blocked my Sim card with the reason that ID is fake. How it is possible. Driving License Issued by SDO (C) Jind. Is also fake than what is proper ID. This is the only harassments of the Customer.

Airtel didn't keep the document privacy policy
I have got a Airtel post paid connection ( Mobile No. 99401xxxxx) under CUG plan.I had submitted my Passport and my office ID as proof during the activation of my Airtel Number.
On 30 Jan 2007 I received a LOK ADALAT NOTICE ( Notice No. 2951 ) dated 05 Jan 2007 from the TamilNadu State Legal Services Authority for not paying the bill of Rs.1851/ for the mobile No.9940134223, which I never owned or used.
I met the concerned official in Airtel Ltd,No.101 Oceanic Towers, 2nd Floor, Santhome High Road, Santhome, Chennai-600 028. But the official didn't give any proper response and he provided me a copy of the application of the Mobile No. 9940134223. I found the document I had submitted for my Mobile No. 994015xxxxx was attached with that application. And also I found the following discrepancies in the same application
1. The Signature. I found some other's signature was there.
2. The ICICI Bank A/C No.I found a some other A/C. No in the application.
3.The Residential Address.I found some residential address
4. The application did not have any photograph.
Though I had brought all these points to the official notice,he did not accept it.
Then I wrote a letter to them dated on 05 Feb 2007 to seek the clarification regarding the Lok Adalat Notice and the discrepancies in the application given by the concerned official in above said address.
Then I had sent 3 reminders to the same address.But I haven't received any response from Airtel Ltd.In the mean time I wrote email to the the regional officer. She replied that the legal team was working on my compliant. But there was no answer from any Department.
After that I didn't receive any further Lok Adalat Notice or Legal Notice from Airtel Ltd. This made me to frustrate. I had invested much time and lost my valuable time because of a wrong petition.
My charges on Airtel
1. Airtel didn't keep the document privacy policy
2. Wrong petition on me which made me to disappoint
3. Not provided the correct clarification
4. Document piracy
