Poor service!
Airtel has launched a new advertisement . The advertisement start with a note that "please stand for the national anthum". After this some singers sang the national anthum. One time people will stand two time people will stand but not every time. When this advertisement was given in cinema hall some people were standing and some people were sitting. This add is making people feel the hatreds against the national anthum because they have to stand there for 5 minutes. The airtel has no right to use national anthum as a source of ADVERTISEMENT. I think airtel should stop this add. The GOVT. of india should take an immediate action against airtel.

Remaining amount not refunded!
I have purchased 100 dollars worth of call time to India. When I was in US from Airtellcallhome.com. Before I could fully utilize the minutes I had to relocate to UK. So I sent mail for refund. They didn't respond. I called them after 2 weeks. They say they will not give refund and since I have moved they have locked the account.
I told them they have to give refund or unlock the account. So that I can ask my friends in US to use the remaining balance. They are not doing both!

harressment by dummy calls... from AIRTEL
I am a Subscriber to a Tata Mobile and have been receiving some stupid Incomming callls from an caller using a Airtel Connection.
The number when tried says that this call cannot be completed...
To increase the Headache the call comes at any odd time Might me late 01.00 Am or 06.00 AM and round the clock at a uniform intervals od appros 6-7 minutes...
I would like you people from TRAI to take a strong and stringent action against the number mentioned above...

customer care not reachable
I am a airtel user. My problem is that I want to deactivate my helllo tune, but I am not able to reach customer care. After trying so many times I get this msg that all line are busy try later....

Please don't go for this stupid connection. Unnecessarily they r deactivating the connection though all the necessary documentation is provided.

Fraud and cheating!
WITHOUT GIVING ANY INFORMATION, 5 PAISE PER MSG HAS BEEN TAKEN, AS An AIRTEL CUSTOMER I OBJECT THIS. U people introduced the scheme as free msg plan, then u have started to taken one rupee rental. Now 5PS PER msg with rental. U shd have clearly indicate this before but u people never done that.

Very poor service!
I am airtel customer with also have six connections at home and I am using the CUG scheme. Since the signal in our area(Chennai --> Nanganallur) is very poor, I reported to concerned airtel department. Authorities and support coordinator promise like crazy that we will fix the issue at the earliest. But no response yet. I waited for more than six months. No use. Very poor service, but can able to market like crazy and make everyone believe like the service is very excellent. Do not believe. I am withdrawing from airtel and also other connections also due to this very poor response.

Voice SMS facility is hoax
I sent a Voice SMS, from my prepaid Airtel number, today to a friend who is using a Hutch number. He received a message from me (sent by Airtel) saying I sent a Voice SMS. My friend happily dailed the number provided in the message (). But instead of hearing my voice SMS, he was connected to a person (apparently residing in Coorg - Karnataka). To make matters worse, that person was shockingly rude and used all profanity in the dictionary of an uncivilized person. Even after my friend apologized (even though it was not his fault), that person persisted with swearing.
Today my friend called me and told me what happened. I called up Airtel customer care (121) and was shocked to hear that the Airtel customer care will not accept that it was a screw up on their part. The so called "Customer Care" agent even hanged up on me even before I finished my explanation and refused to take it as a complaint.
What the f*ck??? If Airtel cannot manage this simple procedure of forwarding Voice SMS to right numbers, how can they even think of starting this bullshit service? Why are they called "Customer Care" when they cannot even hear the complaints of their customers and dare to hang up on them. A civilized company will have the heart enough to take the complaint and make sure that such wrong numbers are not given (causing mental torture) in future.

Activation of internet services
I am not able to use my Web services and when I try to activate this feature in my mobile by sending "LIVE" to 646, the reply from this service is "The service is unavailable temporarily. We regret for the same". I have tried to activate this feature several times, but every time I am getting this reply only from the service provider.

Wrong billing!
I have requested the airtel to change my rate plan to a new plan well in advance(10 days prior to the next billing cycle). They have not effected the change and and wrote me back to remind them 2 days before the new billing cycle. I have not the same due to my office work load. For which reason they have not effected the change and charged me with high tariff. When i contacted them they simply replied that " since you have not intimated 2 days we have not effected". I was wondering why should i be informing the company every now and then to get my work done. When i raised the same point with them they have simply denied all this.
