Fraudulent charge for Caller Tunes
I was charged for my mobile for caller tunes on receiving calls with special offer for Rs 5.00 for 6 times in a month. When I tried to ring the customer care centre couldn't get through at all. Then the charge carried for next month as it wasn't cancelled and another Rs 30.00 was charged. Can't get through the customer care centre at all from my mobile.
Further more when I went to a shop one person said he will refund me the money when I come tomorrow. When I went next day the person was not in yet, but other lady who was really rude said nothing about can be done about it and said she can't take the complaint.
Now if I get a chance I will go to the same centre to get it sorted out, but if I don't what to do about it. Due to this unnecessary charge I have my balance is in negative, and my account is on unlimited incoming free and about to be recharge as 6 month is up. So I am not doing it until the company sorts it out and I am not accepting the blame for it.
Could some one help me and get this sorted out at the earliest.

Change of lifetime validity period and account
Im airtel prepaid user from 1 year with lifetime validity of 999 rs with karnataka. Just 3 days before I went to hyderbad, as it was under roaming state, my account value reduced from 25 rs to 2 rs and validity will expire on feb 2009. Why such irritating state of my no. It happened with my friend also. We both are going to sue the company.

Blocking of services despite of submitting enrollment form
My mobile no. is 9970554672 I had taken connection on 4th May 07 after handing over the all required documents & after 1 month my services are being blocked & told that my documents have not been submitted and requested to submit it again. I resubmitted the necessary documents on 6th May 07 but still my services are blocked.

From The last Few Days i m receiving Many unwanted calls and sms from the airtel which is irritating and disturbing. Whole day i receive a message. Please Help me to get rid of the unwanted messages and calls from the airtel.

Refund on hello tunes not received!
This month i was charged with 30 rs on 11 day and again 15 on other day stating that i had send a request for hello tune. But the reality is i never gave any request for hello tunes. When complaint was launched, first of all customer care people does not know how to talk to customers, secondly i was promised by one of floor manager vrushali that money will be refunded within 48 hrs. But its been more than 2 weeks i am not been refunded.

Worst service and customer cheating
I had applied for Landline cum Broadband connection from Airtel on Feb 06 with caller identification facility. I have been given connection on feb 06. But the caller id is not working from the very 1st day. I had made more than 5 complaints for the same stating that the caller id is not working. But, i used to receive a call from customer care that it is activated.
Till october, after i threatened that i wont pay the bill, they had sent service person and he after examination changed the instrument.
This is done after 6 months of my repeated complaints. One thing has to be noted that i have paid Rs 25 / month for all this 8 odd months as a charge for the caller identification facility or service, which is not provided to me.ie. Airtel has failed to provide the service for 8 months,but collected the amount without giving the service.
But 2 months back,i asked the collection agents to collect my bill. But they missed / forget to collect my bill. So i paid the bill some 5 days lately. For this late bill payment you have disconnected my Line, also charged RS400/- for Late payment & Activation. Pls take a note that, they failed to give me service for 8 months and also charged for the service they didn't provide. But, because of their collection agents failure i delayed 5 days for which they have charged 400 rs.
I complained to the customer care regarding this on October and after repeated inquiry from my part at last got information that the charges cannot be wavierd.
Atlast, after my repeated mail to nodal officer, i got the extra amt billed that is billed waived and my connection has been given back( connection has been disconnected due to non payment of bill - bill dispute).
But once the connection is given, i am being charged 198/month extra as a modem charge and other charges from feb month. I have made a complaint regarding this. But i am said that the plan is changed now. But i am not responsible for this plan change. Because of their billing dispute they have disconnected and given back the connection. This is unfair and illegal to charge me 198/month extra every month.
I want this extra amt charged to be scrapped and the extra collected to be credited back.

Poor service!
I am prasanna working in Systech Solutions chennai, I bought Airtel SIM card last week and when I tried to activate the Add-One card facility I am not able to do because some one else has activated my number mistakenly, and I didn't give any acceptance to that number. When I contact the customer care they are saying Add-One card facility once activated cannot be changed.
I am not able to change the number because I recharged bulk amount for 6 months, How can I pay for the mistake done by others. Already the same problem happened to my friend and now for me. The Add-One facility in Airtel is very very worst.

False promises & poor customer care
I received a mail from Airtel, that i will be getting 30 free SMS for 3 months from effective 5 May2007 which will reflect in my next invoice dated 7 June 2007. When i received the bill there was no discount added to it, after calling to customer care they said that it will be effective from next month. Then he put me on hold to check & suddenly after 5 mins disconnected my call.
This is the kind of false promises AIRTEL gives it to his customers, highly unprofessional. I suggest HUTCH & IDEA are far better service providers.
My advice is to all you people not to take AIRTEL connection in future.

A request for a duplicate bill copy
I am a customer of Airtel and using the connection since two years. I was out of country almost a year and before leaving the country I put my connection under the Airtel custody and it was available for six months.
When I arrived India, I came to know that my connection has already allotted to a different person without informing me. When I asked for an advance rent which I have paid against the connection, after a month conversation they said it has already adjusted in your Aug 2006 bill, when I asked for that particular bill copy where they adjusted the rent amount they gave me an excuse that the data is very old and we couldn’t provide it. I told them that I was not in India so I didn’t get that bill copy and I was not sure that you would have adjusted or not.
I am struggling with the issue for almost two months but the Airtel customer service is unable to provide me the bill copy. I have launched so many complaints for the same and also I put a request for the bill twice to airtelindia.com, even though they are not replying me back. Everyday I call them up for the bill but not getting any positive response... they say we are trying to resolve that complaint.
Someone suggest me what I have to do?

Harassing my family members and friend using different Identity and name
I have subscriber to Airtel Post-pad service 8 month back and my outgoing calls are bared due to exceed in my credit limit. As per my information my credit limit is more then 9000 and my usage was approx. 8000 Rs. Without any previous information my outgoing calls are bared not even out going they cancel my registration also.
Now after one month they are calling using different name and harsh my relatives. If they want to meet me or communicate me why not they are using my office number. I have a lot of Issue regarding there services right Now I want to Compliant against Airtel.
I mention all my complains below:
(1). After purchasing new connection Airtel has charged aprox Rs. 700 without any reason. I can’t request for any "Hello Tunes" but the gave me a “hello tune”. At my very first bill they charge me a very huge amount (700). I called to Customer Care they were just tried to piss me off though they didn't care about my problem. So the issue has been closed. I wasted too much time and money in talking to Customer Care but they did nothing.
(2). without any previous information my outgoing calls are bared.
(3). Harassing my family member and friend using different Identity and name.
Can someone give me a proper guideline regarding this Issue.
