Improper services
1. I had activated SmS 49 pack and i was using it happily. On 24April i received an SmS stating that my pack would be updated.I did not understand the message and called up on 936. I was told that i will be getting an extra month for my pack.Instead my pack got deactivated on 28 and that too one day early.I had given a complaint but no action was taken.

2. In the month of december amount of Rs.21 was deducted on account of using GPRS service which i had not used and neither i had given a request.I got a refund of Rs.7 only

3. I am a demo card user. I receive hardly any sort of cooperation from my agency (indu). I had given some roll backs a year ago and i have still not received it. There is no territory manager to help us out.

4. The commission given to the retailers compared to the risk borne by them is very small. It should be increased at least to 5%.It is just my personal opinion.

5. The 123 service has not been brought to proper service since december. I am not able to change my family nd friends nos. neither the agency is helping out.

6. My SmS pack does not get activate on time. I have to give complaints at least 4-5 times.

Disconnecting due to delayed payment
I delayed payment of my April bill by two days because of unavoidable circumstances. In the meantime, they disabled my outgoing call facility. After paying, i called the customer service to reactivate my line and was told that it will be done. But it is more than a week now and whenever i remind the customer service to reconnect my line, i am told that i have not settled their bill for which reason they cannot re-activate my line. I even provided the receipt # for the payment done through the collection center but they claim not having received such payment, which is tantamount to claiming that i am dishonest.

Now i am unable to even call the customer service. I do not know if companies like Airtel are out to make profits revenue through such malpractices.

Wrong deduction from my account
I took my prepaid connection (9810374456) four months back. At the time of purchasing NOP service was activated on my mobile and for this service Airtel daily deduct 5 Rs. I was complaint in airtel to deactivate my NOP service. From 6-March NOP service was deactivated as per their record, but till date they daily deduct 5 Rs. when i was complaint them they tell me because of technical problem this happen and we will refund you your money & stop this wrong deduction.

I was complaint on 11-March and daily asking them what happened about my complaint but they just told me your complaint is under process and within 48 hours you will get refund. After 2 months they not refund me amount around Rs. 200. This is so worst type of service and so i have purchased Idea and not interested in Airtel. I have 2 more SIM's of Airtel but I will also change this Cards and interested to using any other companies SIM.

Sim...not activated, lost lots of communication.

I am the S/E working for one of prestigious company, I am using the Airtel prepaid(9945392969) from past 2 yrs here in Bangalore, One of the representative from Airtel sits here in my office, which is at residency road, Bangalore. I asked her to migrate my existing number from pre paid to post paid...after two days I receievd an mesg on my existing number(pre paid) stating ; "the migration will be done in 4hrs, during which your(current sim) will be inactive. pls insert new sim after 4 hrs'. I did as per there suggestion. Still now after 48 hrs my both sims are inactive...When I call them they are avoiding my call either or giving some stupid reasons like in 10 mins or 20 min your sim will get activated...blaw... blaw.
In due course I got humpty number of important call were done from PM/PL ...for which Airtel say "Airtel you called is not recheable"....
Its rediculous to see such renouned company does not stick to their words.

I request you, please activate my previous SIM in 24 hrs otherwise I am going to file case against Airtel for loss of my data...

Wrong sales from representative
I planned to go for postpaid connection in airtel. In my concern one guy from airtel representative came for airtel SIM card sales.He told 'one special offer for 249 CUG national plan specially for your concern and you can go for it.Its only a limited also I will get a free airtel bag for this connection'.So I have purchased one airtel SIM card from him.Then after few days my number has been activated and I started using on it.After first month bill received i came to know that no such special offer plan is available.I have contacted the concern person and also airtel customer care.But no use.This is really Pathetic and bad opinion about airtel salesman's.

False commitments and misguiding - stay away from Airtel!
Few days back I took a new postpaid connection of Airtel from an authorized Airtel franchisee (V-Connect, Faridabad). This franchisee provides corporate connections in my company. They offered me a scheme of Rs.998/- advance rental with free CLIP (caller identification) and a STD pack of Rs.25/- for reducing STD charges to Rs.1/min. for first 250 minutes per month. When I got first bill for the period from 10th march to 20th march, I was surprised that CLIP was charged and no STD pack was provided, my STD calls was charged at normal rate of Rs.2.40/min. When I called up customer care regarding this they told me that there no such scheme and the guy from V-connect made me false commitments. Then I called up V-connect and told this. V-connect told me that this is corporate connection and these schemes can be provided and assured me that these services shall be provided and discounts shall be provided in next bill on extra amount paid by me in this bill. After few days again I got a bill for the period from 20th march to 30th march. This time around CLIP was charged, STD package is activated and Rs.25/- was charged for that. But STD calls are charged at the rate Rs.2.40/min. I again called up CC and got reply that STD pack is activated on 29th march, so STD calls made before that period were charged at normal rate. Then I decided to write a mail to CC regarding this and explained that same services are mentioned on my enrollment form filled at a time I took this connection. On 17th April I got mail from CC that they can’t adjust STD charges but they will give adjustment for CLIP charges. Again I wrote a mail to CC for adjustment of STD charges and this they gave adjustment. I paid my bill of Rs.279/- which was of around Rs.750/- before adjustment of STD charges and CLIP charges. Now I received the bill of April month and again CLIP are charged and STD pack is deactivated. The best part is when I called up Customer care regarding the clarification they told me these schemes are not available on this rental plan and the STD pack was active only for one day i.e. 29th march and this is not a corporate connection. Add to my surprise no body in CC aware about why these services were provided me and discount was given. They registered a complaint and forward it to there billing department. Now from last four days I got calls from different people from Airtel. Everybody asks about the problem & assures me to resolve this issue and some times offer different solutions (like change in plan, Adjustment can be given only for this bill etc. etc.). I am fed up with the CC services provided by Airtel. I have to spend more than 30 mins every time I call CC and still hang up without a resolution. This number has really become a tension for me and it is still not clear if V-connect made me false commitments then why Airtel give me discount and activate these services for previous month. These CC people are ridiculous they talk as if as they can do any thing with customer’s account.

Due to this unnecessary trouble I am completely disturbed and not able to concentrate on my work. I am unable to understand that if these services are not available on this rental plan then how these where activated for previous month and how they give me discount in that bill.

Isn't it illegal and harassing act of Airtel? So I request you all to stay away from Airtel.

GPRS activation charges
Airtel has a scheme of GPRS activation for corporate connections at Rs.99 monthly rental . They are telling it should be company paid connection. If a company is having 4000 number of employees. How can it be possible to pay the bills of all the employees. At the time of giving the connection they have given it in corporate scheme and now for the activation of GPRS. Airtel is charging Rs. 499 per month as rental. This is ridiculous.

Voice mail services deactivated without notice
The telephone no.: 022-40120803 is in the name of my wife had the Voice mail feature activated and recently it was noticed that they had de-activated this service without any permission or notice. This is actually is trespassing of right to an telephone line connection and a breach of contract (verbal) and unilateral from vendor side for reasons best known to them.

I do not think this company Airtel is genuinely interested in providing such services like voice mail, etc or this is a pure selling strategy with no obligations to the consequences. I was not interested in their voice mail or the telephone line, but their sales person dreadful looking traveling from door to door in houses promised all the best services with all features probably taught to tell lies and the company may be proud of his lies today, got me to have the airtel connection. This would be the most excellent selling strategy by loads of lies and good short time customers giving growth to the company for virtually no cost, but lies. Because eventually they are exposed to their facts and today I have rated their services to public of India to be stooping to level of just a liar in the form of a large organization.

To top it, I am being told by their customer service person Manoj (a sucker) that I re-activate my VMS. The company may have all the time and money for such frivolous repeats, but they must check whether their customer has the time for all this repeat actions and phone calls to their 121 (customer service number).

I think this company is in the wrong line of connecting people, they are in the line of connecting and then disconnecting people! Great fun they are having at the cost of public money and a ignorant management.

Do reply, if your company thinks that they are in the business of telephone service.

Message sending problem
I am airtel prepaid customer from punjab. I have a problem that, when i send some one message and if by any reason (message receiver mobile switch off, or out of coverage area) message goes in pending. It fails after exact 1 hour. If have contacted many time customer care, but no benefit.

If we are paying for the sms. Than the company should deliver it. Or company should increase the message validity time.

Use of my premises without prior permission
The Airtel company has used my premises to lease telephone lines to five other premises without prior permission. The socket was installed when the previous resident had subscribed for airtel telephone service. I would like to know how the airtel has used our premises without prior permission.
