Airtel not responding for Disconnection Request
Hello,


This is to inform you that I am highly disappointed with the way Airtel is behaving. I am calling Airtel everyday to be told that no request has been forwarded from my end. However I file a request to disconnect the number (01204561239) on 2nd April 2011 for which I received sms also giving me reference number- 44807742 (via phone) & 1433688(via email). I am fed up of false commitments Airtel is making every other day. Each day a customer care executive would call me to know the reason and offering me the redress help but they don’t just tell me the status of my request. And it’s so funny and horrible when I called today and was told that I have cancelled my request of disconnection after talking to some of so-called truthful Executive from AIRTEL. This is indeed unbelievable to know if big company like Airtel can indulge in such unethical and false statement things for their business. I am making it very clear now in bold words that I don’t want any solution to retain the connection but to get the connection ceased with immediate effect.


Further to let you know, now I am not gonna chase Airtel to know the status since its already almost 5 days that I filed request and no action has been taken against their promise of ceasing the connection within 24 hours. And I will not pay any bills that Airtel might raise after my request to disconnect the services. I will pay for only what I have used and no dummy bills.

Please be informed that as per process, the rental for the above mentioned connection will be seized within next 7 working day and there will not be further rental charges in the account. Subsequently, the services will be terminated within 7 working days.

The security deposit (if any) will be automatically adjusted towards outstanding balance on the account or refunded through cheque within 45 days from the date of permanent disconnection.

It is our privilege to have you as our valued customer and would like to thank you for your continued patronage. We look forward to a very warm and fruitful association with you.

I have requested for that on phone also on 2nd April but haven¿t received any
update regarding that. Reference number for the same is 44807742. They told me
connection will be disconnected within 24 hours and final settlement will
be negotiated within next 7 days. I have seen complaints regarding delay in
disconnecting the services. Just to let you know that I don't want to go
through that harassment from your end. I will be liable for the payments till
2nd April + 7 days as customer care executive has told me. After that any bill
issues on this number will not be my responsibility. Kindly update me for the
status of same asap.

Airtel: Insensitive & unfair Service - Complaint - 9634885462
Dear Airtel,

I have logged complaints on 14.03.2011, 1.04.2011 and then today i.e. 06.04.2011 again. I feel you are insensitive towards your customers and their satisfaction. Before I mention why I spoke to your customer executive today, I would like to mention what I sent as an email to your nodal officer:

"Dear Airtel,
Inspite of making a call on 14.03.2011 (W1038633785) ( I have other logs of complain numbers too of the very same date) where I complained for unnecessary deduction of money and activation of services which were never asked for, I have faced the same thing again now. My money has been deducted again & again (my mobile is 9634885462) and the service is still running on my number.
Today, I tried contacting you for registering my complain but no use. Whichever option I choose, I don't land up talking to a customer care executive. I was told that my number has been registered under DND too, if that is the case then how can you again activate a new service or when your representative confessed a mistake and promised to discontinue the value added services then how can you deduct my money again?"

Quite surprisingly and to my disappointment, the services which are still active (like friend chat, listening to songs while you are dialing someone’s no. etc) are not the ones which I would ever activate even in my dreams. I have plenty of nos. to use at home and office so I am hardly using this no. in question these days. Still, in case of any doubt, I challenge Airtel, to go through my logs and ascertain my facts.
What is the point of talking to a customer executive and then even to your supervisor if they forget what they promised to do to resolve the issues. Still now, the services were going, the money is being deducted, the registration in DND is no where in sight. Why did you promised to register my number yourself? And if you did why isn’t it active even after the stipulated time? And if it is not active then shouldn’t I blame your supervisor for the continuous deduction of amount and for the useless activated services on my number? (I was promised to stop the services and DND registration and I am told today that on 29.03.2011, chat, songs etc have been again activated on my no. How?)

Lastly, today when I complained again, the line got disconnected from your side, I re-dialled, did the futile exercise of explaining everything to another executive, he himself suggested me to speak to a supervisor and while I was on hold, the line was again disconnected. To add as a spice, since then, I have been trying to speak to an operator but I am not getting a line and getting useless things to hear (all lines leading to executives are now blocked in this particular no. of mine). I am hundred and one percent sure that it is not a coincident but a design by you people because it has happened before also. The last time recently. You guys don’t let us speak, so that we cant file a proper complain and get our complain nos. too. And I am sure it’s a well planned trick since, without giving my consent, now I am getting messages from Airtel that my services has been stopped? Why? How? While you are not letting me speak all my concerns, how can you take one sided action, you are not authorized to that and a legal action can be taken very easily. If there is a problem in your network whereby, you have problem in listening to all concerns and issues of your customer, then how can you take immediate although half required measures?

Completely disappointing service who is eating the money with unfair practices. I would never ever recommend Airtel’s service to any living soul anymore.

Disconnection of my fixed broadband connection No.05224109707.
Dear Sir,
I am having fixed broadband connection No.05224109707. I got the bill of Rs.2387/-. Immediately contacted with customer care for over-billing and requested them to deactivate outgoing calls. But your team did not acceded to my request. Again I got a call on 23rd March 2011 and was told that un-billed usage has reached to Rs. 1600/-. I again requested for deactivation of outgoing calls. This time total outgoing facilities were withdrawn which i came to know when I tried to access internet for payment online and I couldn't make payment. On 3rd April I made payment of bill for the month of March11 to your collecting agent. He allowed me a waiver of Rs.550/- for non-usage and promised me to get the waiver approved. Rest amount of the bill was paid by me in cash. From 3rd April and onward I am trying to book a request for disconnection and have made 10-15 calls to your team. every time I am being told different stories by different attending people. They keep me holding line for quite long time without any result. The last call made to No. 05224444121 at 1.50 p.m. on 6th April which was attended by Mr. Abhishek and Sr. Executive Mr. Rajesh had to hold by me for 15 minutes two times and call took a long duration of 45 minutes but your people could not book a small request of disconnection. And I was again directed to contact on numbers 01244247471 and 4247459. I rang on these numbers on 5th and 6th April but my call was not attended despite full ring. The level of efficiency of Airtel people and excellence of customer service rendered by them can be well imagined.
Now I request you to kindly arrange for disconnection of my connection number 05224109707 and save me from further harrasment by Airtel team. I also request you to take action against your erring employees.

Unnecessary deduction
they are un necessary deducting Rs. 15 every week and it is from last 5 - 6 months. Infact i called a lot of times to the customer care but they don't help me out.
I think the customer care faculty of the company is not for the help of customer but to irritate in one or the other way. i am so irritated now i just want that it will stop now other wise i have to consult the consumer court because i have told them a lot of times.
please help me in this regard so that this deduction will stop on my mobile phone

Fraud billing
Airtel Fraud Billing.

I went to USA for business purpose for the duration of 1 Week. From USA through Dial91 i made calls to india. I made 21 calls in total. But im suprised to see airtel bill. they made charges for 34 calls each call costs 55 Rs. i talked to customer care so many times but the result, as everyone knows waste of time. Then i got the call histroy from Dial 91 with all the evidence i send it to appelate team for the justification. But the team replies with single line our billing is correct. I talked to the appelate representative subramni for about 20 min. I explanied my situation with complete evidence so many time. he also stand my the word " i understand your situation but our billing is correct" I fed up with is issue for the last 2 weeks.
Now i have to pay for all 34 calls whether i made it or not doesn't matter. since it is reflected in the bill i have to pay the bill.
Fuck off Airtel.

Complain against disconnection of Line No 9831520637
Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that the above mentioned line has been inactive since last Sunday dated 3rd April 2011 without any prior information. It is a post paid connection and for your kind information there is no due till date.
My father has also a separate connection no:9903385746 which shows a due.But his address and my address are totally different and I have no connection with that address.I am not related in any way to this due amount, yet my connection has been suspended.
I therefore request you please take suitable steps and activate my line as soon as possible.

DND service
I am registerd to DND service to fully blocked. The registration no is S1038185136 and it got activated and all promo calls and messages were stopped for few days. I have again started getting the promo calls and messages from airtel of which i'm fed up.
The 121 customer helpline is just useless. I am being told that the call is been transferred to the CC executive and immediately disconnected.
It seems like airtel has gained lot of customers and failing to maintain the quality of service they provided before.
