regarding hello tune
In my airtel number 9589216380 your company started hello tune...due to this my balance is goes on in minus (Rs. -14.55)...
Regarding above subject when i talk to your customer service center no. 121 and i said him to talk to me his senior then he told presentely senior is not available ... and he told he can't do any help regarding my complaint he can only deactivate hello tune service not able to refund balance...
I just want to say you that return my balance as soon as possible ...

Services charged which were not asked
I am the Airtel customer since last 5 years. on monday (Feb 7) at around 11.56 am, i got a SMS from airtel (AD-54321) stating that "Thanks for downloading Hungama content Game from Airtel. You have been charged Rs. 10". But I didn't downloaded anything or accessed anything from that site. After 1 hour (ie. around 1.30 pm), I had contacted Airtel CSE Manohar. Its reference number is CBDOV20307312678. But that CS Executive told me that he didn't have any data and ask me to call after 2 hr. I had contacted CSE at around night 8 pm regards to this and Mr. Iqbal picked my call. He is so arrogant that he is not in a position to listen my problem and telling that I only downloaded that game and without solving my problem, he disconnected my call. I facing this problem earlier also. But I didn't get any solution. And I trying to contact CSE from last 3-4 days, but I unable to reach executive. Please take action against that arrogant Iqbal and one more Lokesha.

extra charges in bill

I PAID MY LAND LINE NUMBER 011-40541400 BILL LAST MONTH WELL IN TIME BUT MY BILL DETAILS SHOWS LATE FEE CHARGES OF RUPEES FIFTY THIS IS UNFAIR WITH CUSTOMER. airtel wont allow MNP
i tried to change my airtel number (9789894070) to tata docomo on 03.03.2011 due to unwanted balance deduction of several times.
now i cant even call for customer care too, my balance is in minus,
if i recharge they will took all the money...
i got Unique Porting Id (AT679369) on the same day at 07.56 P.M,
and again after that i got a msg mentioned "hi your request for MNP is registered Successfully. 1674891"...
so i believed that i'll be free from airtel hell but on 05.03.2011 i got a msg mentioned "ur port in request for mobile number 9789894070 has been rejected by ur service provider due to UPC mismatch.
for any queries please call 1800-266-3366 (ind #..."
i went to that shop and asked about the UPC mismatch but they told that airtel wont easily leave their customers to change to any other networks,
they adviced me to go and collect details from airtel showroom,
but am in a busy schedule i cant go anywhere...
the only thing i can do is to throw my airtel number and get a new tata docomo number...
its a hell...
govt ordered many things but they wont follow anything...

not taking my call
customer care executives are not solving my problem. they simply ignored it by making excuses, keeping me on hold forever. i tried 4 times but to no avail. i am a very old customer of airtel. almost 4 years old but still i am being treated like this. it makes me think what i have gained by choosing airtel. very poor customer service.

Problem not solved even though a complaint was lodged in customer care
15 days back, I opted to port from Airtel to Vodafone. I completed the procedure of porting and received a message that my porting request is confirmed and accepted. Few days later, I received a call from one of the executives of Airtel, asking me the reason of porting. I told him the reason behind porting. In return, he requested me not to port from Airtel to Vodafone. Also he assured that I will be getting good service from Airtel both in terms of Network and Call Charges. He assured me that Airtel will be providing me call charges as A2A 1p/6 sec and Airtel to Other Numbers as 1p/2 sec, a free Miss call alert service, and this service would be activated within 24 hrs. But in return I didn't get any of the services assured. So i lodged a complaint in Airtel customer care, but everything in Vain. I was just asked to wait for another few days. I waited a lot, still my problem is not solved.

Airtel Customer care service
Is Airtel closed their customer service call centers. I called to 198 lot of times to register a complaint about VAS. But they cannot connect to customer care executive. They only give a recoreded voice about activating and deactivating VAS and says 'thank you for calling to Airtel'.
Airtel published in their website that 198 is for customer complaints. What is this? Is aitel the only mobile service providers in India?. I believe they think so.

Airtel sucks
Hi my name is Mohammad M Shaikh, one of the Airtel consumer, , My number is 9975231904 Maharashtra new customer since January 2011 my concern is regarding poor and pathetic customer service at 121 and 198 customer care number, I've subscribed for SMS pack of Rs.67 in which I was informed that I'll be getting around 500 sms free and yes it was free for 20-23days, but then suddenly I realized that I'm getting charged for the Free sms even though my sms pack service was valid, they charged me for 6 messages then when I called up 198 I was informed that its a know issue, all the sms pack subscribers been facing this problem, but do not worry you will be getting that money back with in 4hrs, I didn't get the money back on top of it the next day I started getting charged again for the SMS, then I called the same number again and then I was informed that the scheme has been changed to all of the customers so hereafter every messages beyond 100sms will be charged from the main account, Oh hello, I never get any notification so how can these company can charged me withing bringing this in to my notice and the most hurting part was when I ask the agent to transfer this to over the supervisor and the supervisor came In and asked me my concern when I told him yesterday it was a different reason now it's different he hung up on me on when I tried connecting back again they hung up on me, I do not understand what kinda customer service we are talking about here, I'm really in a mood to screw the happiness of the service which I'm getting no matter what it takes from me, one of my friend is having same sms pack of Rs67 he is not getting charged over 100sms why is that so huh? am I not paying for the service you are charging as per you required they why you are not giving the proper service, now my another complaint is about the IVR I don't know why the hell agents or the supervisor have removed the option of selecting speak to the representative I do not have that option anymore on the IVR on 121 neither in 198, I want an action to be taken on those representatives by pulling out the calls which I made from my number on 28th February 2011 or 27th February 2011 early morning please kindly take an action upon the agents and rectify my problems I'm getting charged over 100sms and not able to have the IVR option to speak to the rep please it's a humble request else I'm searching on it, if I get a bingo I will toss them up. Is this called a customer service or just a money making business, what care we are talking about here, ah c'mon I haven't heard about such customer service from any service provider kicking off from the IVR and hanging up the phone over the customer by agents and supervisors and without any notification and our knowledge we have been charged how others can enjoy the same scheme why me??? Would like to hear some positive actions taken against the agents and solve my problem asap please.

Tariff plan changed without consent or any warning
Since 28th February 2011 airel has been charging me Re. 1 for local sms and Rs. 1.50 for national sms whereas my normal tariffs were 10p for local and 30p for national. So this suggests they changed my tariffs without any consent and I feel very unhappy and cheated. Also, I had activated a sms plan of 95 Rs which provides 500 sms per day for a month which has been deactivated 6 days prior to its actual expiry. I called up customer care and they said it'll be resolved but the problem persists and now the customer care wont patch me through to an executive. I am forced to post online complaints on account of this. The only reason why I used airtel was the cheap sms tariff but since that has been changed there is no reason to use airtel. I sincerely hope they revert back to my old tariffs or I shall be forced to discontinue the use of their sloppy service
