Broadband and call charges are very high
Your Service is Good But your Broadband charges call charges are very high. Never add late fee in our Bill. we are ur. customer morethan 2 years.In our Last bill Late fee Rs.140.65 pl.give waiver & send the confirmation to arrange the balance payment.Since i was in out of station I could not made the payment in time.

Airtel Network problem In NSEZ (Noida)
Hi
There is very poor network connectivity of Airtel in Noida Special Economic Zone (SDF B6)
People are facing lot of call drops/network faliure, pls do the needful and solve this problem.

They have very complicated & bureaucratic service
I have tried in vain to register for unlimited 99 service pack(unlimited messages), but they have very complicated & bureaucratic service & will keep directing from one no. to other &ultimately it seems they dont want to give this service.

Useless in providing mobile service
Its very uninteresting to write about leading mobile service provider- Airtel of India. This guys talk about increasing global network coverage and no disturbance in the network (atooth coverage).
We guys in mulund (east) have been facing mobile network problem for past 2 months and even following up with this folks your problem does not gets resolved. I have got completely tired and calling up this folks to improve the service.
I am not sure whether anything brought to notice on this forum works or not, but if it really works then make Airtel to provide better service which has got useless in providing mobile service.

Avoid them like a plague
This is with reference to the complaint that I lodged with Airtel (Complain #0617351741) regarding incorrect balance deduction on my Airtel number 9741800553. I would like to brief you up with the details of the incident once again (this has been repeated umpteen times to AirTel customer support folks!)
9741800553 is a life time prepaid number converted sometime in Dec 2009. Earlier, this was a post paid connection and was in use since 2008. This number was not in use since Jan’10, since I was in Singapore. I was returning to India for good on 9th June’10. Since this is a life time prepaid card, I requested my dad to recharge it with an amount of Rs.50/- on 9th June so that I can use this number to make calls from the Airport when I land in Bangalore. My dad made an easy recharge to this number for Rs. 50/- which went through successfully. Upon landing in India, when I switched on my mobile, it mentioned that the “SIM has not been provisioned”. I lodged a complaint at Basaveswaranagar branch on 10th June’10. I was told that this number was recycled due to non-usage for more than 90 days. I submitted an application for re-enabling my number on 10th June. The number was activated on the 11th June. I received a call from Singapore as well as a few local calls on that day. I was also able to make calls and send SMS. My balance on 11th June was Rs. 43.50/-. On 12th June, my outgoing and incoming was barred. I gave a complaint on 12th June. This was resolved and reactivated on 15th June. But, the balance on 15th June was NIL. I have been following up since then for refund of my previous balance of Rs. 43.50/- but with no luck. The complaint reference number I first got from customer care was 615337631. In response to this, a support person from backend team called me on 17th June (from the number 9980269486) and verified that Rs 43.50/- was incorrectly deducted. It was told to me that refund will be done by end of day. By 7.30pm on 17th June, refund was not done, so I followed up with the Basaveswaranagar Airtel customer support office. I was given one more complaint reference number 0617351741 (after having to repeat the entire story once again to customer care). In response to this, I got a call from backend customer support team who once again verified and confirmed the incorrect balance deduction. Again, I was promised a refund in 24 hours. Yet again, this did not happen. On Monday 21st June, I called the Nodal officer and discussed this issue with him. He said he will get back with details by End of day, but as expected, no one called me back. On Monday night, I again followed up with customer support 198. They confirmed that resolution for the complaint number 0617351741 mentions that Rs.43.50/- will be credited in 24 hours. With this delay, I escalated this issue to Mr. Madhu (Appellate officer) 22nd June morning. Mr. Madhu contacted me in 4 hours time and mentioned that this number was terminated due to address verification and hence no refund would be done. He instead offered to credit Rs. 20/- to my number ‘on his behalf’!! But the explanation of address verification didn’t make sense to me since this number was with me since 2008 and also, when requesting for re-activation on the 10th of June, I have provided the required documents (photo and drivers license copy) to the Basaveswaranagar Airtel office. Mr. Madhu has requested another 48 hours to follow up with the backend team and he said he will get back to me.

When I click the link, Airtel charged me Rs. 99 without any prior information. I think Airtel is deceiving its customer. They should have given clear information in the SMS that when I click the link they will charge me Rs. 99. In that case I would not have click the link.

Misinformation by Staff leading to financial loss

I have been writing to your office continously for the past three weeks and now after dragging on the matter for so longg i am getting a reply that a connection cannot be made available to me due to due to network choked(ASB-11-07) sub pillar full.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION OF CASE GIVEN BELOW
Sir we are running a project of Haryana State Aids Control Organisation in District Ambala working with drug addicts towards the prevention of spread of HIV and AIDS. We had approached you said office on the 14th of July 2010 for getting a landline and broadband connection. We were asked to pay a sum of Rs. 1000/ towards security for the same and fill in the necessary documents. We did so and we were assured that the connection would be installed inn 2-3 days. With this assurance we left the centre.
After 3 days we approaced your office your office and were told that due to the floods in Ambala a technical snag had occured and it would take another 2-3 days to rectify. We then visited you office again on the 21st of July 2010 and we told that still the problem would take a couple of days. We the requested Ms. Ruchika (9996868868) that we were waiting to get our Information material printed and required the landline number to be printed before for the conveinience of all the clients/patients. We were given the number as 0171 - 4003377 and assured that the connection would be made available to us in a couple of days and so we should go ahead with the printing of the pamphlets with the following number.
Only after the assurance of Ms. Ruchika, we then went ahead and got our information material printed and displayed the above mentioned number in all our pamphlets which are more that 16, 000 in number and cost Rs. 10, 000/. As of now we have 16, 000/ pamphlets which we cannot distribute due to the wrong number and also the phone number is not being made available to us.
Now after one and a half months i am being told that the connection will not be made available due to technical reasons, i understand that this technical condition is beyond your control hence i request you to kindly refund the amount that we spent on the pamphlets and also the security deposit that we had submitted to your office. We are doing social work and the budget provided by the Haryana State AIDS control Society (Government of Haryana) does not provide more money for the printing of Information material on HIV and AIDS. Our program will be hampered if this is not done. (Please consider our request very urgently.
It is highly unfortunate that your customers are made to go through such harassment and the company does not ensure that its employees are made responsible for misdirecting customers and giving incorrect information. They are extremely rude and are not at all helpful.

unauthorised deduction of money from my prepaid account
I have been calling airtel customer care for the last two days since I am getting messages that Rs. 99/- have been deducted every instance because i have supposedly downloaded games from airtel live service which i do not access or use at all. Upon repeatedly calling the customer service center i was assured that no further charges would be deducted. Inspite of all these false assurances Today again Rs. 99 has been deducted from my prepaid account. this just goes on to show the complete inefficiency of the mobile service operator.
