I am tired of calling their customer support because it takes a lot of time to get connected and explain them the story from the beginning
I purchased an Airtel Digital TV connection through online on 16-Jan-09. As per the process they should deliver the setup box and do installation with in 72 hours. But it is not done yet.

I got the activation kit through one of their agent and recharged the voucher to activate the service on 19 Jan by calling their customer service number. Once the activation was done he told me he will generate a customer order and a airtel technician will come with the setup box the next day and install it. He also informed me that I will get a sms with my customer id, installation timing etc with in 24 hours. But I didn’t get any call from them.

One repeated calling (each call takes around 30-45mins) also I haven’t got any response from them. Every time they say it will be done in hours but it never happens.

I will say to all my known person not to have AIRTEL service
This complaint is regarding the AIRTEL postpaid connection. Customer care executive have activated on my mobile 9818364290 the 36 months scheme without any intimation. When I said to close this number, they are not closing and asking for scheme amounht which dont want. Even several time AIRTEL person came to my home asking for scheme money. When I not paid the amount then they have send the legal notice, what is this. this is customer care mistake why I will pay for that. Really Bad service AIRTEL. I will say to all my Known person not to have AIRTEL service. Really Really BAD AIRTEL.

I am extremely saddened that such a huge and reputed organizations reputation is being spoiled because of the employees at the lower level
I have been using the airtel cug plan for almost 8 months. In the last 2 months, because i was abroad and did not hav a credit card, i couldnt pay my bill. So, while I was abroad, my girlfriend, in whose name I purchased the sim card was contacted by the bill alert department. She couldnt pay my bill so she explained tht i will be returning only a week later. She kept on getting calls and one lady who called from the bill alert dept of airtel was extremely rude, and she went to the extent of abusing and swearing at my girlfriend. She was using such foul language, and used the word SLUT, the "F" word, and vowed that she will not leave her alone.

I was so shocked at how someone can speak like this to a customer! We lodged many complaints against this lady, but no serious action was taken... we even met the Basullah road showroom manager, Mr. ram(in T nagar in chennai) but he never took our problem seriously, and was refusing to give the name of any higher authority whom we contact and complain to.

Not only this lady, but even other airtel showroom employees have no respect for customers. I am extremely saddened that such a huge and reputed organisations reputation is being spoilt because of the employees at the lower level. it shows a lack of vision of the Airtel company. If they dont ensure that customers are treated well, I dont see how this company is going to flourish.

Now we have disconnected from airtel and are using VODAFONE which we are very happy with. The customer care is also very good.

charging to unsubscribed service
I am being charged daily Rs 1 by airtel for a service that i have not subscribed form july 2010. i contacted to customer care but all in vain. I think i need to disconnect my no to save myself from this profesional theft by theif airtel company. They charge with out any intimation & humilate customers.

breach of contract &unfair practices
landline no. 01146064805 installed at E 502, Sanmati kunj sector 6, dwarka, new delhi, india. all payments made, but service discontinued by Airtel. earlier also similar experience with the company. earlier also their collection centre were on strike at dwarka and they charged late fee for payment. one has to waste lot of time telling them what unfair they are doing.

From past 2 to 3 months Airtel is having a very serious network problems
Dear Friends from past 2 to 3 months airtel is having a very serious network problems...when I called to coustomer care they said to me that it will take 2 to 3 days time to get rectified but after one week also it was not rectified.. when i called them up again they to me it will take 10 to 15 days time to get it done...i dont understand what they will do for somany days...as i am in to business i get 20 to 30 calls per day and it is not posible for me to ignore the calls so easily...these aritel people will charge 475 rs.rentals every month..in 30 days airtel will have network problem for 15 days, by this thing they will make profit...

Airtel is also charging extra 15/- for caller tunes...every month they charge me 15/- extra for the caller tune which i downloaded in the begining.

Avoid at all costs
Airtel has deactivated 15 rupees mobile office in andhra pradesh and activated 30 paisa per 50 kb mobile office many people does not like it.

Worst experience while dealing with Airtel - miscommunicated about bill plan
Worst experience while dealing with Airtel- miscommunicated about bill plan. Nobody is there to escalate the case & get it resolved. I dont have any other option rather to switch to VODA FONE service provider since its FORCED BILL PLAN on consumer by Airtel.

Airtel is the the most hopeless service i have ever seen
Airtel is the the most hopeless service i have ever seen. Everyother day people seem to change the plans/tariffs. i have had one of the worst experiences with airtel prepaid and postpaid.customer care is absolutely useless!!

But the person was speaking rudely and forgetting the basics of speaking to a customer. Moreover denying my claims and telling me to accept that my claim is wrong. Also readily informed that I can go ahead and complaint against him on this site.
