Registration failed without Notice
I had Airtel Prepaid Line no.with life time recharge (9001338743). It was working fine with validity showing upto year 2032. When we purchased lifetime SIM, they told you dont need to recharge. After using six months without recharge. they terminated the service without any notice or any message for the same.
After i called customer care they told me that if you dont recharge for Rs.220 in six months it will close the service..
Why do Airtel not disclosing the fact and keep this hidden if they have this rules. they are just selling and making people fool.
they think that everything hides in * (conditions Apply).
But this is not at all acceptable.
I will never use Airtel Again, and will not suggest anybody to use it.
I had balanace of some 400 Rs. who will pay?
Airtel...you will loose lot of customers.. by doin this to me.
I will migrate all my close people and others in touch to some other service provider.

Cross Connection
Hello,

I own 2 telephone numbers issued by Airtel. One, is for Delhi and the other for Himachal, registered in the area of Sarahan, Himachal Pradhesh for business.

Just today, I called to check whether my Himachal no. is working fine or not but i was shocked to find the bell ringing and the call being picked up by some other person of the same name at the other end. Now this is bizarre since my personal Himachal number phone was lying in front of me, silent and not ringing at all.

I don't know what the Airtel officials are up to. I dont know if somebody who wants to get in touch with me on my Himachal SIM is talking to the right person or not.

I would like to know the answer for this and maybe a legal procedure which can be followed. I hope it hasn't been issued to someone else by forgery of signature.

Wrong deduction
Dear Sir,

This is to regards that i have a Serious concern with "Airtel" Today i have recharged with 102 rupees which is for unlimited sms free. After recharge i have sent couple of messages after free also company has deducted few money from my account and still the services is not activated yet.i called airtel regards this they said that amount will not be refund back and this concern is repeated from last two month this is not a first time this is happened earlier also.


I request you to kindly look into this matter.

wrong bill
Airtel wrongly generated a bill for Rs 25, 000 for my broadband for 2 months. I repeadedly complaied for 3 months and when manager of airtel collections, south zone, Avinash called me, he threatened me . He said he d send me a non-bailable warrant and refused to listen to my problem. I reached a settlement with him of Rs. 6600, and he refused to pay me any letter. Afterwards he has been sending airtel executives every month for 4 months now, and still bothering me to pay rest.

Asked airtel to terminate my line
I Asked them to disconnect my line, they are not disconnecting and sending me bills. I have written many emails to customer care still they are not doing ...

My mobile no is 9940554540 without my knowledge they picking my mony for NEWS service. i am not able to stop the service till now. This is one of the strategy.

Billing malpractice
I have Airtel Broadband connection for last 2 years. I am using unlimited download plan for last 2 years. On Dec 28, I asked Airtel to disconnect my broadband higher rates. But I decided to continue with Airtel to avoid major discomfort with new operator. On Jan 4, I received a call from Airtel that my plan has changed to Rs 250 with limited download. I clearly told them that I am not intrested in any change in plan and would like to continue with existing plan of Rs. 799. They agreed on this.

In Februray, I received a bill of Rs 6637 with Internet charges of 5900. After my multiple discussion with Airtel, they agreed their mistake ans asked me to pay Rs. 1300. They told me that I have been moved to my original plan of rs. 799 and future bills will be based on this.

This month, I have received a bill with DSL charges of Rs. 2237. Airtel has charged for 10 days on my changed plan for 20 days on unlimited download plan.

When I call their call centre, they adamently told me that I had accepted the plan and their executives have mentioned internally some comments that I had accepted this billing. They have given me discount and their is no error from my side.

They said, they do not care for any authorities and I can go to any court / tribunals to settle. The billing executive named "Vinod" from Bangalore attended my call.

balance detuction
i have reacharged rs 26 . It is a sms pack power reacharge, through which one can get unlimited sms (500 daily) .But i am not getting the facility.

and by doing the complain no ane is attending the complain .And no one is intrested in taking with me.

To the Airtel Bihar customer care and services chain of command,

I would like to inform you that I am having big problem with below listed mobile no., last two days they call for gift recharging after recharging i connect with this person he talk to me an abuse and bad language. if it is possible please send me their name and location on my given email id.

closing number
I am having airtel no. (98783-55355) since nov 2007. but on 1 march 2010 i was in uk and found that my airtel number is not working then i had conversation with customer care executive who said your number has been closed due to deficiency of id proofs but i have submitted all required id proofs & my photograph at the time of purchasing number. during nov 2007 to feb 2010 i was not given any message or made a call in regard with deficiency of id proofs. if they had such a problem they should have intimated me so that i cauld submit my id proofs again. due to closing my number i am having to suffer a bigger lose.
