charged for unavailable 3g services
I was told that 3g services were available n asked if i would like to try them.I said yes.But the catch was I was in Pondicherry at the time where Airtel doesn't have 3g services.My phone always displayed the edge network but still I am being charged exuberantly for 3g services which i did not receive. About 8 calls to the customer care and still no solution, just some complaint numbers.I have changed from a person who used to recommend airtel to a person who would strongly advice against it.

poor customer service and complaints close without solving problems

In the month of April, 2010 (complaint 40320108747) i was faced the problem, after several remainders and followups i get the statements.

Recently i was faced the problem to view the mobile TV on mobile and complaint raised the same in 121 customer care after that they had closed the complaint (forgot the complaint number) and said problem was solved without confirmation from me and without informing. After that i was raised the complaint again (refer sub line for complaint numbers) but till now this problem was not solved. I was changed my mobiles in twice for updated mobiles.

On 5th Sep'10, i was informed airtel customer care people regarding value added charges was incurred in my bill without using / operating mobile TV. But customer care people not interesting to solve or waive off the charges and not able to raise complaint also and not interested to escalate the issue to team leader or superiors.

What is going on your customer care, TRAI has given rights to close the complaints without solving or without informing to customers.

Network Connectivity
I am facing the problem of call drop and network connectivity at my home from December 2008. I have put the complaints various times at 121 customer care no. but every time CCE were listening the complete problem but on the basis of their feedback, no one bothered to respond.

I am really fed up with this issue and looking for the solution immediately, because my business is also affecting because of this.

Reg: Reimbursement of excess amount deducted from credit card towards post paid connection
Dear Sir / Madam,

I had a post paid connection with airtel number 9880018854 for which I had given standing instructions for payments through my HDFC bank credit card no. ends with ... 8207. As I lost my cell phone, I surrendered the above number to airtel office at Mathikere, HMT Main Road, Bangalore, on 17th July 2008, by paying Rs.320/- which was due as on date. Since then I had been receiving the bill statements which were showing due payments. When I approached airtel office where I surrendered the number, they told they will look in to the matter and asked me to ignore the bill statements as it is settled in advance; but I was shocked to know that the bill payments have been made from my credit card for extra 4 months after surrendering the sim card. Immediately I approached my banker and cancelled the standing instructions given for the above said number.

I have been asking for the reimbursement of the excess amount (Rs.1300/- apprx) which was credited to airtel from my credit card, but airtel authorities are not responding properly instead they are giving flying answers. I have produced all documentary proofs (acknowledgment for surrendering the no., credit card statements etc.) to airtel office at mathikere but nobody has taken any action on this. I asked airtel to check the credits pertaining to the above no. after the date of surrendering the no. whereas, from last 1 year they are telling they have not yet reconciled the account. I really wonder how a reputed company like airtel can not maintain a simple account of customers!!! Even after one year they have failed to give a proper reply to my request. I am working for a reputed company in Bangalore as a finance manager where more than 500 employees are using airtel corporate connection. Now I am afraid to continue the service with your company on experiencing such a bad service!!!

I request the concerned authorities to check and rectify the error in account and reimburse the excess amount at the earliest. Your earlier action in this regard may highly appreciated.

my number is 9849977755.I have cleared all my outstanding.please deactivate this number as I have moved to other state.I have a deposit of 6500/- with airtel.refund it at earliest.Janaki

Getting wired messages despite donot disturb instructions.
I have been getting wired promotional messages from airtel for more than 50 days. For which i've requested them repeatedly to stop any kind of promotional messages. the call center executive said that your request will be processed in 45 days, but even after completing more than 50 days, I am getting these messages even more frequently. They are so disturbing and and now started creating stress. I'm aware that TRAI Ombudsman give 45 days time to stop these messages. Please guide ...

Cannot receive overseas calls
I am from jorhat assam and my airtel postpaid mobile number is 9954478728. I'm facing a problem from august 2008 which is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. I cannot access overseas calls particularly from USA. The irony is that i can receive the same calls on my BSNL LANDLINE...

clearly airtel is about to hit the rockbottom, a downward spiral... a landline superior to wireless AMAZING!!

Delay in providing connection
I would like to state that there is an enormous delay in logging my application for post paid connection, which was initiated by one of the Airtel Executive, by name Miss Aiyasha, even after providing all details pertaining to address verification etc. I received a call from Airtel on 04-12-20007 & the representative, Miss Parimala, was expressing that login was possible for want of address proof even after me submitting the Bank statement. I fail to understand the reasons for the delay in activating the connection. I hope, I would be receiving a favourable reply telling that my connection is activated. My mobile no is 9880169288.

Disconnection
I was an Airtel consumer initially since the company launched in Kerala. Due to the un-proffessional dealing had to switch over to Relaiance mobile. Later now just because of a good friend of mine I once again happened to be consumer of airtel. Initially the services was quite satisfactory. Later as days passed almost the same what i experienced in the passed started.

To make things more clear let me tell you one thing. I am a customer who pay a lot to the airtel for my calls. Evn without asking airtel customer keeps calling and increases my credit limit, which is finally now at Rs.4400/. For your kind information, no bills have gone not paid so far. Still the treat i face is very very bad and its quite humilating when your custmer bar the out going facility inspite of the proper payments. Even today even though i have not reached anywhere near my credit limit they have just barred my out going. Even a month back I paid off Rs.4100/ at just one strech.

I did speak to one of your customer executive Mr. Dileep today and response was very bad. He promised to ask any of his senior manager to call and has failed.

Judge this incident for yourself and do the needfull if you think it has to be. Also please note that I'll clear off my present bills and move out to some other service providers who respect their customers and stand by their offers.
