I have not applied for any postpaid mobile connection from Airtel. But keep getting bills in my name and correct home address occasionally. The Number is 9893302659
When I got the bill first time I emailed the company at
[email protected] and cc to:
[email protected] on 2nd April 2007 requesting them to look into this as it is a suspected fraud and do immediate investigation. Obviously I did not make any payments to this bill as the telephone is not used by me nor I have ever applied for the same.
I got a computer generated reply that the compliant would be looked into.
The company should have immediately blocked this number.
I am surprised to get another bill now after a gap of a month and surprised to see that the previous bill are all paid. This means the fraudster is using the telephone with the connivance of some of the company's employees. I have sent the company one more email informing them to block this number immediately and inform me failing which I have to register an FIR with the police. I also wanted to contact their CEO. Unfortunately the search for it in the internet did not give any result. Instead I got this site reference which showed so many complaints on by several people on AIRTEL.
A great shame on such a company who boasts too much. They need to do something to train their employees properly.
