Network
I am living at ahmedabad, Chandkheda area where maximum of Railway officers are living. We have been provided airtel CUG plan by them (To all Rly Officers), but the most disaster is that there is no network availability. We have to move to our terrace for giving a call. This is not all we cannot even receive a phone call when at home. Airtel network is very poor.
We shall now move down to any other services (Idea, Tata et. al.), so as to get rid of this poor airtel network...

Change of address
Dear Sir,
I have taken a number from airtel no. is 9818268513 in name of Dhirendra kumar Mishra r/o M-31, Shyam Park, Nawada, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi-110059, later on I have requested airtel to change my billing address to Courier 'N' Cargo Alliance, 4/1, West Patel Nagar, New Delhi along with some corporate connections. Now all the corporate connection has been changed in prepaid and also I have resigned from the Company. Thereafter a want my number back in my old address.
Therefore I request you to kindly provide my no. 9818268513 in my residence address and oblise.

poor network coverage
i am using airtel postpaid simcard for last 6 year.but for last 3 month i am facing a poor airtel network coverage.and also inspite of so much complain nobody givng a responce to me yet.even their head boss name MR KEYUR also not able to responce the probllem and also airtel customour care execitative are not able to listen any thing and also not able to resolutation. inspite of giving a so many complain.so requesting to you if you can understand the problem so please please please please solve problem.and rply to me as early as possible.hope you can more knowledgable person to understand.waiting for your reply.

Service barred due to address verification
Hi,
I am J. Nataraju and my number is 8008015111.
I took this postpaid conection few days back for which they asked for address verification. I provided with everything and gave them a day to come and veruify the address. I put everything correctly but they enetered my address incorrectly in their database. Some person from Airtel called me and told that we came to your hoem but you was not there so please give us time when can we come and verify address. I gave them time. After few days they send me a letter to my office about the postpaid plan and my rental things on which there was wrong address. I complaint to customer care that addres you wrote is wrong then where you went. They said sorry and corrected the address in their database. After 2-3 days I got a call for address verification and when I will be available. I told them to come on weekend and specifiy the time. Nobody came to house to verify my address. Now suddenly they barred my outgoing service. I went to Airtel outlet and tell them the problem. The desk people talked so rudely and asked that your address was not verified and so service barred, I told that nobody came to address verification for which they replied that a person came to your house on Monday (which was a regular working day and which I dint metnion to meet me) and he dint find you. I tried to explain that it is my office day how can I be at home and also dint come on my told time, for which desk people replied very rudely and said no change can be done to your service and we are cancelling your number. Even its not my mistake but those guys are putting all things on my head saying why was you not there, give some idiots a thought that how a bachelor working person can be at home on workign day.
They are not ready to help for anything. Its like a mentla harassment, I just cancel my old number and gave this number to everybody and if they cancel again I have to cahnge my number. Is for this type of service BHARTI AIRTEL will be proud of ?

Last 20 months i am using airtel postpaid connection 9936330333, dhirendra dubey 127/482, w1 saket nager kanpur, u.p. From day one i am facing problem of call drop and weak network . puting number of complants i am not getting any solution.

hacking of privacy
i am a postpaid user of airtel postpaid connection. My sms are being tracked purely privacy being hacked and used by the press for their personal gain and it involves somebody from my office premises that is HDFC BANK, BANGALORE. Rude Customer Service
I have taken an airtel postpaid connection here at Haridwar, at Uttaranchal. My number has not yet been activated, although as per the lady at the Help Desk at the Airtel office at Haridwar, the number has been activated. My husband has been there on 3 occasions for the same. On the last occasion, she said that the SIM Card is not ok, and thus, we would again have to submit our identity proofs so get a new SIM Card, for which we would have to make another trip.
It seems, from our experience that Airtel does not value its customers in any way. That the customer's time is not important, and that he/she may run around the airtel office for a complaint. Even a BSNL service would be better than this.

Airtel Not activating the number
Hi,
I had a airtel connection for over a year now in Bangalore. One month back I came to delhi circle and gave them the request to please change my number to Delhi Circle.<br />
First of all their estimated time of completion of this request was 1.5 months. Regarding this I wrote mails to the nodal officers of delhi and bangalore but no answers from them.<br />
After 15 days I got a clal from Delhi Airtel Office stating that they will issue me a new sim card and this will get activated in 24 hours. Meanwhile on the same day they disconnected my Bangalore connection which was working on roaming. Now I am left with no mobile connectivity. When the number was not activated for 24 hrs I checked with the guy who has Provided me the SIM and he said it will be done by night. This guy after some time was not picking up my calls and also after that he switched off his mobile. His name is Aman.<br />
Nothing has happened to this new SIM and still the registration is failing. I talked to Appellate officers also named Poonam and Ritu but they dont have any concrete answers to this. Also they will promise a date and time to you, by which they will get back, but all in vain. And if you try to reach them again then only GOD can make you lucky to reach them as Nodal and Appellate officer's phone are always busy.

gprs plan changed without informing me
I am using airtell Postpaid # 9910995276 from july'08. I took this corporate plan number from my office IBM, Gurgaon, haryana, under Plan#IB279 voice-corp & GPRS Plan#249unlimited. From last month August'09, the plan( new plan 10Paise/10KB)has been changed from Airtel side without informing me or even asking me if i want to go with new plan or not.These idiots didnt bothered to take my permission for new plan. I got this information on 26th of August (bill message recd on mobile) & then i called up customer care & has been continuously in touch with these airtel customer care executives since then & everyday i get this information that things will be sorted out within 24hours from one month. instead i m fedup getting their reference # everyday after every complaint. Since there was some problem with their computer datas, I was given assurance that my gprs 249unlimited plan will be deactivated again & i will get revised bill by 22nd of september.
My first reference# started on 26'Aug at 9Pm(ref#951549187) & at present I have around 20 reference numbers lying with me & still no solution.
ReF # r ( 951549188, 951579383, 95208603022429533 6, 22432330, 955377490, 955491727, 955493622, F554807530, F554816781, F557242555, F557842971, 957076742, 28504329, F559588301). Some numbers i got deleted. Even after speaking to our coordinator on 02/09/09 (as told by airtel executive to check about the plan with my office coordinator), i was informed that this plan is still working who have taken earlier but for new numbers they r not giving this plan anymore.
Then i was asked to write a mail to 123@airtel customer care. I wrote a mail & got again reference numbers & no action whas been taken till now. These idiots have harrased me a lot from last one month. they are charging me the amount which is not my fault. & after giving assurance that my plan will be deactivated, it has still not been done.

Sim didn't activated
Dear Manager, (Customer care )
I am a new Airtel post paid subscriber at Srinagar, I had purchased PP conection through local Airtel Show room with fulfilling all required documents of ID & address proof on Sep 14, 2009.
2. I received a SIM no. 89915502080269677161 bearing ID no. 9622459087 vide CAF No 016940, dated 14.09.2009.At the time of allotment the conserned officer assured me about activation of my SIM by 15.09.09, but it has not happened due to unknown problem, I am still awaiting for activation of the SIM since it is very urgent to me.
3. In view of the fore going you are kindly requested please do needful to actvate my SIM.
