CONNECTION NOT ACTIVATED
I got a new connection of airtel postpaid for rs 500 on 25/08/09.At my first visit they gave me sim card and told me that once i submit my address proff they will activate my number with in 2 day i submitted my address proff.but then again on again and again calling they told me to change the sim then again I changed me sim But asusual no progress in service they told me to change my number also as it was already activated in prepaid.I dun know how this can be possible.But again they called me to change the sim again.<br />
and now on 7/9/09 they said taht my new no. will activate after september 11.please do something.<br />

UNREASONABLE PHONE BILLS
HELLO,

My name is Mr. M L Prashar. im from ludhiana. i was having an AIRTEL POSTPAID number 09915094200. i lost this number about 3 months back. than i request to airtel custmore care to stop the services of the number. i complaint fom 09872094200.

but even now after much long time i am reciving the bill for the same number at my address.

Misbehaving Customer care Employees
Hi,
Today i recieved a call from Airtel Gurgson bill region office employee and he started misbehaving with me. He started talking very rudely and very offensively to me. Seems some friend of mine was not paying his airtel bill so Airtel was now calling everyone he had called to tell him to pay up.

I have always been airtel's loyal cuatomer but i think now i need to thing about it.

The person's name was Ashish and he called me from number 09212604673.

I have sent a mail to airtel's customer care email. Lets see what they have to say apart from saying sorry...

Non receipt of Bill
I have Airtel postpaid No +919766646417. It is a part of CORPORATE CONNECTION. I have subscribed for the bill by post. Since the time I have taken connection the bill is never delivered and when ever I contact the service centre I am always told that the bill will be delivered within 4 working days OR the bill has been send BUT THE BILL IS NEVERA DELIVERED OR SEND. I am amazed that if this is the state with Corporate plan what the ordinary customers must be undergoing.

Number suspended
This is regarding my Postpaid connection No-9665064665, which was suspended due to some mistake with the SUBSCRIBER ENROLMENT FORM. It has been resubmitted on the 28th Jul 09.Immediately after the service was suspended. This connection was given by Mr.Aniket as part of his marketing in the month of March 09.We are been contacting Mr Aniket regarding the connection but there has been no response . The Customer Care Executive asks us to Contact the Airtel Relationship Centre in Chinchwad where we had submitted the related forms. When we contact them they say speak to the CCE as we cannot help you, and now they have stopped taking the call. And now the mail id [email protected] or [email protected] doesnt exist.
This is the most Pathetic service ever seen .

Bullshit service and people
Airtel "customer care" both 121 and centers should be ashamed of themselves for calling themselves "customer care" and start calling themselves "customer despair". There is no bloody care. Its full of such crap people none of whom know what they are doing.

I got a post paid connection on 4th of July and it stopped working while I was outstation after a couple of weeks. Just showed unregistered sim. After numerous attempts to get to there "customer despair" excutives they said my documents had some verification problem. So after coming back to the "despair centere" where I had got the connection I showed them my bank document showing them a new proof of address...inspite of already having given them Ration card and pan number. The "customer despair" center executive(there is no executive its just a fancy name for cheap labor) told me there is no problem with the verification will start in the next four hours. This exactly same procedure ran for 15 days with the same answer everytime ... with the 121 despair excutive telling me different things and the center despair executives telling me different things. the "will start by 4 pm". Then eventually I got tired and asked them to cancel the connection and the center despair executive told me my SIM has magically screwed itself so I need new one. Got new one and told me will start with 4PM(Inspite of me telling me a hundred times that there is no problem with the SIM). Same procedure repeats again and again. Then next time I go to the despair center I am told I am screwing the SIMS myself. I dont know where they pick up these idiots? By that time it was 4 August and I got a call from there Ahmedabad office asking me to pay the bill. But since my mobile is not working they call me on my landline. That that iiot tells me my phone is not working because I have not paid my bill. I am really restraining myself from calling these guys ass*****. And to top that that female who called me told me I should set up there if they told you there is a problem with verification then its true, if its problem with SIm then its true, if its problem with bill payment then its true, and that she is so smart that I should listen and do what she says and also that I should set up my own network if I cannot live with my mobile phone not working for 20 days and I dont like going to the customer care center so many times. I intend to take them to court and if some collection agent comes to my door they are looking forward to an FIR the next day for harrassment(after I let my dogs loose on them).

Wrong Bill
Hi,

I have been using Airtel postpaid number since few years. I have taken a number in my name to be used by my son. He had to travel to US in March 2009 so I had put his number in Safe Custody with Airtel dated: 16th March 2009. The Safe Custody Period was 90 days. I had cleared the unbilled amount then and there only that was Rs. 641 which meant that all dues were cleared.

Till date (31st July 2009), my son is in US only and I have been receiving the bills every month. He has not used that number since then. But on 12th April 2009, I received a bill of Rs. 19, 816 whcih stated that the calls were made from that number on 25th March 2009 (then the number was in Safe Custody with Airtel-Ref. No.: 211032284)
I immediately logged a complaint against that bill and got another ref. number that they would resolve it ASAP. Ref. No.: 899455617.
After one month, I again received another bill with a huge amount and since then I have been just logging complaints about it but nothing is happening.

Note: 1. The connection credit limit was only Rs. 3100 but the bill exceeded Rs. 19000.
2. The number was put in Safe Custody with Airtel for 90 days and during that period, the number was misused.
3. Today I have received a letter stating that Airtel has been calling me again and again and if i dont pay the whole amount till date then Airtel would take a legal action against me.
4. The unbilled amount mentioned above of Rs. 641 was charged twice as they misused my card through which the payment was done by swiping it twice and without my lknowledge.


Kindly look into this matter ASAP. Its a humble Request.

i am from amravati, maharashtra

i was a prepaid customer since 2004 with mobile number 9890804804, but then in 2007 some promotional executive approached us and offered us a police plan 150 rental and airtel to airtel calling free,
as i was priviously a friends customer i was charged 10 paise/min so it was really an attractive offer 4 me, so i converted to this police plan rs 150 rent, and also took 2 connections for the family initially and then 6 more connections wi9thin a month after experiencing the benifits, and now its allmost 2 long years i have been using this postpaid plan, i even built up an airtel network in my whole family, as it was totally free for me to call airtel,
but all in vain, these airtel people cheated us by changing the plan abruptly,
suddenly since 1st july airtel changed all its 4800 police plan connections acccross maharashtra, giving an excuse of that company cannot offord that plan anymore..so the new charges are from free airtel to airte to 10 paise/min,
now 1st of all how can the company change the plan so abruptly, without any prior intimation, and we were promised at the time of taking new connection that postpaid plans never change,
but now as we dont have any proof of verbal promises, we are helpless and ditched from airtel,
its a sort of mental harrasment,
and if we continue using the same way we used to, we cant afford to pay such heavy amount,
we just want the changes made to the plan to be reversed...connections which were alloted 1yr after our plan are also still going on with 1500 minutes airtel to airtel free, but our plan has been changed...
i jst want the plan to be reversed or it should be converted to 1500 min free airtel to airtel Rs150 plan
coz now we all have airtel numbers in the family and you can v.well understand how difficult it is to change the numbers,
so this is just a torture/ fraud/harrasment from airtel,
nd if the company couldn't afford, why did it launch the plan...
i request an immediate action against airtel for this issue..

Rude & busive Behavior against Telemarketing executive
I have 2 postpaid connection of 9892889198 & 9004078890, however from past 1 month I am out of station for my official work. My payment for 9004078890 is pending. I am getting continous calls from 64539407 Airtel female telemarketing executive. I have been informing her that I will come & make the required payment. however this female executive is speaking with me & my parents so rudely, she even taunt us for the same evryone on then. I alway ask her from where is she calling, but she never tells us. We have lost it on her & she also abused my parent & me. I would like to register a complaint against Airtel for the unproffessional & rude behavior done towards comsumer.
