new connection
i am a prepaid customert of airtel (9789930886) i had paid the money and provided all neccessary document for postpaid migration from prepaid on saturday (4th july 2009) and they promised me that the connection will be activated by 2 days but till now(14th july 2009) i didnt got the connection. the pitiest thing is i dont know wheather i am in postpaid or prepaid they blocked my outgoing from last friday, the customer care are not understanding my tension they are repling cooly and insulting me. i had never come across a worst service in my life. now i am having the phone to just look the time bcoz of the grteatest service of airtel. i am not able to communicate with anyone then what the hell network they are providing. i was amazed that to solve a problem they will take and taking such a plenty of time to recover. i weas totally disappointed on this idoitic network making me tense for every minute. no quick service, customer support, caring of customer, service providing. the customer care are making the line to be hold for a long time and every time the are not understanding costumers pain. this airtel is making my this whole week peaceless. thank you airtel for making me very painfull for every day

Not closing the connection
I requested since i am relocated from delhi so i do not need this connection any more so please close this no with final payment. But after so much follow up with customer care they are insist that it will be disconnected from Delhi only, then they gave me offer to transfer of the connection... Till date the situation is same.
I am fed up with u and will never ever take this airtel connection in future as well as will not pay any further bill if u do not transfer or cut my connection and i m also thinking to go in consumer court.

Inactive SIM
I got a new postpaid connection from Airtel. After one week my connection is not working. It is suddenly inactive SIM. I have called many times to customer care. They said that you have given the address is negative. But, i am staying there. I got the their bill also. And, i have make a call to representative guy who is working in Airtel, (His name is balakrishnan, Mobile no. is 9949996347) he is not giving the proper answer. Some times he is not pick up. Totally, their service is worst. I am not satisfying for their service. Better I have to move or change some other connection.

Registration to airtel website
I'm unable to register onto the airtel website. I got the first time password to my mobile. But when I try to login to the website, it asks me for details like name etc. It asks me for DoB. But the day drop down does not have anything but guess what "day". How enlightening!!!. I'm unable to enter the day and the website doesn't allow me to progress further until I do enter a "valid date"... whatever that means here...
Will they look into it???

Billing Issue
I have been already informed by customer care regarding one of the service plans activation i.e. Rs 30 per month - where after activation the call rating should be as 50 paise per min to any mobile for local call charges. This was on 11th June, 2008. But then I saw that I have been charged Rs 1 per min. It is almost paying double. I complaint I complained regarding the same, but they have not revised my bill. I was continuously complaining regarding the same. Even then they have not taken any immediate action. Instead, they have activated it effectively 7th Aug, 08. Again 8-10 days late. It is due to irresponsibility of Airtel. I want this to be taken under consideration asap. Please do the needful. Reference Number – 17683341.

delay in sim activation
i applied for airtelpostpaid (199)scheme they also collect money worth 600 from me and i got my new sim in courer.they made the address verification on 26 th april its brach is in 1st floor, peninsula chamber(lowerparel) . but till date i din'd get my activation they even not response to mt call is the kind of service airtel porovides to its customer?

Activation issue
Hi There,
This is Vineet Tripathi, own Airtel Karnataka Postpaid number 9845902112. I lost my mobile along with sim card on 17th April 2008, so requested Airtel to bar calls and sms till I get a new sim card. On 25 Apr 2008, I was issued a new sim card and on the same day the sim was activated as per Airtel however I am unable to receive and make calls and SMS service is not working as well. I kept calling the customer care of Airtel for 7 continuous days innumerable times irrespective of me being in roaming and was told by different floor managers like poornima, Purna, Aravind, Azaharuddin, Sameer, Hemant the same old thing that there is some technical issue, mismatch of numbers due to which I was getting the automated message "SMS and CALL services are barred due to expired validity date' while trying to make calls and they have issued a high priority case to technical team to resolve the matter and I would get a call within couple of hours however as expected never received one.
Then when I called them again to know the status of the card, i got the status that Technical team tried reaching me on "9845902112" and the mobile was not working. One can understand the kind of sincerity that technical team tried reaching on the number which is problematic.
I have been calling to get the status and everytime i have been assured that my problem will be resolved in couple of hours by floor manager (Name mentioned above) and they will give me call back. None of the time i recieved any call from these people nor my problem have been resolved till this movement.
In addition to this, i have been advised to replace my sim card, which i have done couple of time and still do not see that problem is resolved.
This being my number from last 6 years, my work is being impacted and not able to work properly. Since last 6 years, I made sure that none of the time there is delay in the payment of the bill so that I continue reciveing good service from Airtel.
I am really disappointed to see the kind of service is being delivered to customer like me and the professionalism at Airetel side.
I would like to escalate the issue to highest authority to resolve this issue.

PATHETIC AIRTEL CUSTOMER SERVICE
Inspite of telling to the supervisor that the payment would be made on 19-april-08, my outgoing calls were barred while i was on roaming, i missed out all my important calls becuase even the incoming calls were barred because i was on roaming...i want a callback from Airtel with explanation for the same..ASAP...Inspite of making 25-30 calls to customer service did not resolve my issue, my calls were disconnected, agent put my call on mute and did not speak anything, i was yelling but no one was listening to me, if this is the kind of service Airtel provides i would rather like to change my Service Provider...False Commitment, Non-Trustworty, Pathethic Customer Service, Unmannered Customer Reps, Long Hold time, Calls Disconnect, Hanging up the phone on customers...Shame on you, I want the matter to be escalated and want a callback from Seniour Authority.
This people hardly cares for the customer, i hv never ever got a chance to speak to them but now when i had issue, it was nightmare to tackle with them...it is one of the pathetic customer service i have ever seen i my life...

GPRS is not working while in roaming
As we activated the services of GPRS for post paaid No:9989093853, but we r able to get connected to the GPRS while we r in roaming in MUMBAI. we need a reason why any other additional requirements r neceesary to make GPRS working while in roaming so let us clarify this issue immediately as we have more than 10 connections. In spite of the delay from u we will have to look for other alternative
