Customer care nuisense
I own a new connection of Airtel prepaid service for past 4 days in Ranchi. My mobile number is +919199533180. I have requested for GPRS activation for which the service provider is not responding. For the worst the charges for rental of Rs 249 was deducted from my account but no response in sending me the GPRS setting even after 24 hours was received.

When again contacted with CUSTOMER CARE, I found I have been barred from interacting with the customer care executive. Possibly, Mr Sanjay, the Customer care executive with whom I have talked last time have effected this nuisense. I am this facing problem though I am paying for such kind of worst service. Hope this sorts out immediately and action may be taken for such miscreants or else I have to switch over some other service providers and also recommend my friends/persons aquinted with me regarding the kind of service provided by the company.

Activates the scheme without permission
I am customer of AirTel Prepaid connection and for past few months i am facing problem for automatic activation on prepaid schemes without my permission. When i ask customer care executive they escape by saying that i may have received a promo calls and had activated the scheme. I told them that i had received a call and i strictly said no to them and i never talk much which this promo calls caller later on i deactivated this scheme on 08th JULY 2008 by loosing my money on activation charge... but few days back on 31st JULY 2008 again automatic renewal subscription msgs send to me by airtel and I strictly never accept that msgs and i talked to customer care executive and he assured me that this service is deactivated from my number and in future this problem never occur again. But when i recharged my account on 4th August 2008 in night my total balance is Rs.56/- but on 5th August 2008 at 11:00 A.M. again my balance was deducted from my account, Then i called up on one of the customer care executive and i asked to stop the service and give me a refund but that lady argued with me then i asked her to let me talk with the higher authority she forwarded the call after a long wait to a person "Veena" who seems to call herself a supervisor but i think she was also simple customer care executive and she argued and disconnect my call... After that I again talked to "Mr. Kailash" on 06th AUGUST 2008 he assured me again that the scheme is disconnected but again the charges which are deducted that is for again background music scheme. I talked to him and he assured me that my money will be refund very soon but nothing happened. Again I talked to Nodal officer on 07th AUGUST 2008 and she again disconnected my call. Again i called to "Mr. Kailash" but on that number i talked to "Mr. Anupam" and he again assured me that i soon received my money refund today i.e. on 07th AUGUST 2008 but i did not receive any payment till date. I am fed up of such service from airtel. I must say that this is not way to do business, its a mere cheating the customer.

deduction of balance without my usage
i am an aitel user havin a prepaid connection by the number 9910952997.

which was taken up barely a month ago.yesterdaynight i recieved a message
from
an airtel number 53211 statin that a caller tune has been activated on my
number under an yearly plan and i have been charged 15 rs/- for it.wherein
i
didnot activate any caller tune on my number. on callin up the customer
care
office the caller tune was deactivated but my balance wasn't retrieved.



again after mid night i checked my balance which was 311.somethin some
while
ago and then reduced to 111.somethin. 200 rs/- were deducted from my
account
without any usage from my side.



i would hereby request you to please look into the matter and retrieve my
balance. if such carelesness would continue from your side then i am sorry
to
inform you that i would like to switch over to some other connection.



also i would like to inform you that your customer care operators are very
unprofessional in their approach. they have no interest in listening to our

problems and helpin us. they disconnect the calls just within a few seconds
and
one has 2 al over go through the same process of gettin connected to the
customer care which is very teadious n tiresome.

Connection not active
I have taken airtel prepaid connection on 18th june. After working for few day my services was terminated. I called airtel customer services so many times and even submitted documents to the shop twice but till now my is not activated. It has been a long time at least 12-13 days they have not provided me any service.

No incoming calls from land lines to mobile, no sms after chargeable call, etc.
The new 9008151xxx series from Airtel already issued to the customers having the following problems.

1. Unable to receive incoming calls from land line numbers from other states.
2. After calling and ending the call, no automatic sms for the chargeable call which is going to give duration of last call, call charge, available balance, expiry time etc.
3. Unable to send msgs from internet.
4. If available balance is low, say eg. Rs. 20, and if we do call by this time, IVR response says that the available balance is Rs.20 followed by Rs.100 followed by Rs.140 followed by Rs.1000 etc.

Already informed to customer care executives and one of the experienced technical team members told that I have to dial *123 from my mobile without followed by # key to get the automatic sms for the chargeable call. I did and after keying *123 and dialing it I came to know that "the number you have dialed is invalid, pl. check the number and dial again"...

How good to see such an experienced technician saying something which is an invalid information and at the same time its good to see that the person is working for Airtel. This indicates that a person who is having poor technical knowledge can able to survive with such a companies like Airtel.

I'm happy to have a Airtel prepaid connection because at least it is providing food for so many persons who are not having any knowledge and working with good designations at Airtel. What a worst network it is... And fyi that Its already three weeks has been completed but with the same outstanding issues.

Hmm, Airtel... One of the worst network providers in India for the year 2008.

My Airtel prepaid number canceled and became free number
Have taken new Airtel Prepaid Number 9701214701 on 14th Feb 2008. I have submitted Pan Card Xerox, Gas Connection for identity and Address proof along with filling the application form and photograph. On 3rd March 2008 I got message that I need to submit the documents again. Then today i.e on 21st June 2008, I went to Airtel Customer Care to submit the documents and activate my number. Customer Care say that my number has become "Free Number" and I may not get the number back. When I took the connection i have recharged my phone with Life Time Incoming by paying Rs 1200. Now they say my number may not come back to me. This is the SMS I got from Airtel, "To resume your mobile connection, kindly submit required documents at nearest Airtel Showroom. For further details kindly call 121". This message does not say anything about cancellation of my numbers completely nor it says anything about this "Free Number" concept. Also this does not contain any time frame before which I have to submit these documents. But they straight away canceled the number. Just because I have paid Rs 1200 and Airtel got their money and now just by canceling my number by citing documents reason they can get away with my number. I am not sure why Airtel does this to customers. They at least need to inform customers about their policies. How much effort we need to put in to earn Rs 1200. And providers like Airtel take away just like that. Is there anybody listening to us.

ACTIVATION OF SIM
i have issued a SIM no. 9801540321 by one of the officials namely "ASHWINI" of Dhanbad, Airtel, the said SIM has not activated till today after a period of more than two months, now the officials of AIRTEL has issued another SIM in place of that older one SIM no. 9955754267.

But the new SIM is also not been activated till today and i am being assured to be solved the problem by the AIRTEL officials.

Now i am very fursested by received such services from the AIRTEL, you are requested to take a positive initiave in the matter.

Harassment & charged me without any reason!
I am a customer of airtel prepaid. I was satisfied from its service, but some time ago when i activate its net on phone service, he charged me after i deactivate the service. the service have five rupees for 24 hours but he charged me ten rupees for two times. I also unable to share my problem with its customer care because my customer care service is also banned. I have no other way to go through consumer court about this and i also change my connection.

CONNECTION DISCONNECTED
I have purchase a mobile connection from Airtel on 14/10/2007 and submitted my ID proof at the time of purchage, Now my Connection is disconnected without prior information, when I touch to Customer Care centre they requested to submit ID proof again, I done same and Submitted My ID Proof to Airtel Office on M.G.Road Allahabad, UP East. Still my connection is not connected so far

DAILY DEDUCTION CHARGE FOR UNWANTED SERVICE
I am having an airtel prepaid connection bearing no 9960199732,
the customer care has activated some service without my knowledge and permission and now on complaning them to deactivate the service they are cancelling my call repeatedly.
The name of airtel customer care executive is NILESH and i also have complian no with me.
