I purchased prepaid mobile. The dealer had messed up my dox. Through verification call they asked me o submit the dox again. I submitted the dox again immediately. But Airtel barred my outgoing calls & other VAS without waiting for the dox to reach their HO. Worst part is no one in Airtel knows the exact procedure for a failed verification. Look at the explanations I got from various staffs: 1) If verification fails the connection terminated. No use submitting dox (Airtel Office Manager in Belgaum). 2) Airtel needs 15 days (if u are lucky) to send dox to HO & update records/restore services (Airtel Office staff in Belgaum).3) Connection will be terminated & no refund (Airtel staff in Belgaum). 4) Services will be restored in 3 days of submission (Airtel Call Center staff). 5) You will get another verification call (Airtel Call Center Supervisor) 6, 7, 8, 9, ..n) Application not workingm being updated, currently slow, supervisor not available, etc... (Airtel Call Center staff). In summary Airtel customer services is a horror department. I am sure Mittal & no other senior directors/officers have ever tried to call their own Customer Service Center to check what exactly happens there. Airtel needs to tell/instruct their staff & resellers/agents that all them exist & earn their saleries/incentives/commissions because a customer like me pay & we (customers) deserve decent services!!!
