Charged for calling customer care!
Dear Airtel,
I am Koustuv Chatterjee, a customer of Airtel Bengal network. My number is +919932910145. Yesterday (15/04/2008) I called 121 (customer care) at 6:32pm & I was charged rs13.25 for the call. I then further called customer care. They requested me to call again after 10 hours. Today when I am calling again, they are unable to give any details though about 12 hours have been passed. If I call customer care again, my outgoing to customer care may be blocked.
So at this moment I am writing this mail to request you to check my call details of 15/04/2008 & return the money. I also request to let me know the call details of the said date.
Here I am giving some details of my connection to prove my authentication.
1. Owner of the connection- Koustuv Chatterjee
2. First call date- 30/11/2005
3. Recharged with rs999 to have lifetime promo on 18/05/2006
4. No other promo is active.
5. The balance after the controversial call was 20 rupees & something paise
6. Balance before the call- rs6.11

not received the value for payment
i have got a recharge done for Rs.333 on 4th april 2008 on my prepaid mobile where i was promised a talk time value of Rs.333. when i got the recharge done for the same, i was given only a talk time value of Rs.266 . when i enquired the customer care executive, he says that this offer does not work if the recharge is done by i banking and this wasnt intimated to the customers anywhere neither in the airtel website nor in any offer documents prior to the advertisement of the full talk value offer. my mobile number is 9893723583 madhya pradesh. and my name is Lt.sarath chand

hellotunes money deducted
I'm Airtel prepaid mobile subscriber. My No. is 9998460375 I often receive network SMS, and unnecessary calls, to activate hello tunes. I refuse every time. And requested not to send me these kind of calls when I'm on roaming. I contacted 121, and sent SMS not to make these meanless calls.
After doing that Airtel charged me for 45 Rs. twice, I want to know when I already asked not to subscribe that service then why I need to pay. If Airtel do that then that is not a perfect business style, and totally, violation of Consumer Rights.It is uncivilised method.
I called 121 to enquire about that but, they have only one answer, we can't return this amount.That is not good reply from a reputed network Airtel. It is senseless if Airtel steals money from ones account like this way.I think you are indirectly forcing customer, to close the service.
If you care the customer, plz give me a call.
I think you'll take care in this matter. OTHERWISE I WILL HAVE TO MOVE TO CONSUMER FORUM

airtel has subscribed me for hello tunes thrice without my permission and they have also deducted money from my account . i want my money back

Deducted my full balance without my knowledge
I'm using Airtel prepaid for past 1year. I'm using my mobile, not only to make calls but also for using Instant GPRS, by paying required amount. On 31st March 2008, i made top up for Rs 121/- and later checked my balance. Rs 150 and above was available in my account (including my old balance). Same day evening when i checked my balance it was only 0.19 paise. Thought i didnt utilise my phone for any purpuse expect my weekly GPRS activation. When i enquired from Airtel Customer care Centre, there was no response nor they were not able to trace out. My request reference no. is 0331107175. Kindly look into this matter. Thanking you

Deducting money
Yesterday(27-3-08) night Airtel has downloaded a song, hello-tune on my mobile without my consent and deducted the balance money from my Prepaid connection, no: 9910718945.

Wrong deduction from account!
I have Airtel prepaid connection with number +919955817339. I have deactivated GPRS connection on 19.02.08 morning at the Patna head office of Airtel by filling up a form. I was told that it would be deactivated within 24 hours. To my surprise Rs. 249 has been deducted again from my account on 20th Feb.2008. I talked to customer executive by calling at 121 regarding my problem. He agreed that the amount has been wrongly deducted and assured me that my problem would be solved within 24 hours. When my problem was not solved by 29th Feb., 2008; I personally went to the head office again and talked to the customer care executive and got the same assurance again. I was told that Rs.249 jas been wrongly deducted and wold be deposited immediately to my account. But so far not a single penny has been deposited so far. I am facing lots of inconveniences as my balance has gone to negative after the deduction.

BALANCE DEDUCTION

I HAD RECHARGE MY MOBILE ON MONTHLY BASIS AND AFTER THAT I HAD PUT STD TOP UP IN THE MOBILE.BUT YESTERDAY THEY DEDUCTED MY BALANCE AT 2.70RS/MIN BUT STD TOP UP SHOULD EXPIRE AFTER THAT.IT IS A SERIOUS ISSUE.HOW COMPANY CAN DO THAT DEDUCTING AS PER THEIR WISH WITHOUT INFORMING TO US

DISCONNECT MISSED CALL ALERTS
I AM A AIRTEL PREPAID CUSTOMER. FIRSTLY MISSED CALL ALERT SERVICES WERE FREE OF CHARGE & LATER ON IT STARTED CHARGING 15 rs/MONTGH .SO I WANT TO DISCONNECT MY MISSED CALL ALERTS SERVICES BUT I AM UNABLE TO CONTACT CUSTOMER CARE...CAN I GET CUSTOMER NO WHERE I CAN SPEAK TO PERSON & TELL HIM MY PROBLEMS...ALSO WHEN I TRY TO OPEN AIRTEL SITE IT SHOWS VODAFONE LINK....WHAT IS THE MATTER ????????
