Unhappy as the airtel has barred both incoming & outgoing
Hello this mail is because of the bad service provided by Airtel I am a prepaid customer of Airtel & my mobile no. is 9663156746 & when I took this connection I submitted my 2 passport size photographs & my Driving licence as Id & address proof thereafter I submitted the the same set of documents as requested by them & they cancelled my service & again for the 3rd time I submitted the same set of documents again as requested because my service was cancelled & again for the 4th time again I submitted the documents on the 12/08/2010 & the form no. is 21549777, I have faced a lot of issues with this I spoke to Poornima on the 11/Aug/10 about this & the call reference no. is 811240513 but not resolved & again on the 12/Aug/10 I spoke to Lakshmi K, call reference no. 81238878600 but not resolved & again on the 14/Aug/10 I spoke to Manjunath & to a supervisor by name Nirmala Sheety who could no resolve the issue & promised that the manager Kevin will call back in 2 hours time but no one called & the call reference no. is 0814289051 & again on the 16/Aug/10 I spoke to Ravi kumar & to a supervisor by name Veena explained everything & then she could not do anything so escalated it to Sanjeev Kohli who is a unit manager who promised a call back in 2 hours time but he did not call & the call reference no. is 0816162505 & he promised to resolve it but the service is still not activated & airtel is again asking to submit the same set of documents.

Dear Sir,

With due respect, I would like to bring in your knowledge that I am using the captioned connection since last 2 years and recently about 2 months back (June 2010) have got the same number transferred from post to pre-paid. At the time of conversion, I had requested for conversion of post to pre for 2 numbers i.e. 098157-00999 & 098784-00999 and have signed, submitted the complete docs at your Model Town, Ludhiana showroom to Ms. Vanita Bhanot (098155-46806). She had cross checked all the documents and got my sign on the account opening form as well.

The captioned number is used by my mother and while she went to Dehradun for 2 weeks ago, when her number was active. There she switched off the phone and she came back to Punjab on Sunday (15.08.2010), where she was not able to access her sim. After conversing at 121-helpline, they were not able to solve the complaint and directed us to visit nearby showroom, where yesterday I went to your Model Town, Ludhiana showroom and met Ms. Vanita. As promised by her she called up today to confirm that my number has been permanently blocked due to non-submission of proofs, where I told her that (a) nobody has called up to demand for proofs and (b) that mobile was switched off from last 10 days and (c) also that I have given my alternate number the form submitted to you and (d) also that the other number which I got trasferred simultaneously i.e. 098157-00999 is working fine and nobody has demanded any documents in that.

I would also like to appraise you about my relationship with AIRTEL is about 6 years old and following numbers are running in my name and being used by my family members i.e. 098763-00999 + 098764-00999 + 098157-00999 + 098784-00999 + 098785-90800 + 2 landline numbers and also about 10 numbers are running in my fathers name (monthly billing consolidated not less than Rs.30, 000/-

I therefore would request you to kindly look in to the matter and get the captioned number activated.

Promotional calls
This is in regard to the complaint regarding Airtel phone service in Himachal Pradesh . I request Airtel customer care to Deactivate the promotional calls on my prepaid number, in response they informed that this thing will take more than 45 DAYS !!!.I have always heard that it take 48 hours to deactivate any sort of service but 45 DAYS !!! More over the customer care call is chargeable and the representative attending calls keep saying PLEASE HOLD ON THE LINE and when ask to transfer the call to manger they keep disconnecting the call no matters how may time you call them.. " WHAT A CUSTOMER CARE " of a Brand Name AIRTEL .. Hats OFF.

balance deduction
I have airtel prepaid connection..i consistently used frenzo chat service of airtel live from 4 yrs.i know browsing charges not apply in frenzo, bt my balance deducted from 3 days in browsing..within 3 days 63 rs. deducted from balance and customer care said that browsing charges are there..please solve my problem as soon as possible..my cell no. is 9799924380.i want my money back..coz its not 1st time, when i post complaint..again and again i suffer from this problem..give me my balance back..

Recharge Failure
I tried to recharge the Airtel Prepaid Connection (7897288527) of UP (East) through ICICI online banking on 19th June 2010. The money got deducted and Airtel sent a msg that a recharge has been received. But the talktime has still not been credited to the mobile account.

Airtel Poor Service
I had been using Airtel number 9840444084 as a postpaid customer. in the month of Jan 10 I converted post paid to pre paid and submitted all my documents and got acknowledgement.

after two months my number got blocked. when I called customer service they could not able to understand why the number blocked nobody understands what shit people are sitting in customer’s service department.

after chasing the Chennai Porur show room they apologized me for the inconvenience and said I have not submitted documents for the past 4 year. again what a shit reason is this to block my number. no matter I submitted all the documents again thinking that we cannot expect better treatment from crazy airtel.

two months later again they blocked my card this time problem is I haven't submitted my enrollment form.

then I complained to Nodal officer [email protected], I got the reply that I need to submit the documents again and expects me to chase Airtel Porur Showroom why they haven't submitted and he cannot do anything. what a shit reply Airtel showroom belongs to airtel and Nodal officer belongs to airtel I need to chase these rogues to.

then I taken this matter to appellate and got much shit reply this advising to go for new number.

I never had said that my number is inactive, all I asked was the reasons for
sending texts from the AT- Alerts when I already had submitted enrolment form
and other supporting documents,

Thanks for recommending me to get a new Airtel number I don't think any normal
person would be interested taking your services when he has already suffered so
much with support service.

Ridiculous replies, your Nodal officer has given stupid reply not at all
relevant to my question then finally a higher escalation gives more stupid
answer it seems that in Airtel the higher level we go the more

stupid people we come across I have put all interactions I had with Airtel in
all websites let the whole world know what kind of people exists in Airtel.

illegitimate charges being cut
i have been using airtel prepaid connecection (9840647895) in chennai since past 1.5 months. since the past 3 days don't know airtel is deducting rs. 30 per day for some or the other subscription charges which i have no idea of. Even after getting the services deactivated twice after talking to the customer care, the charges are still being cut and i am unable to figure out how to stop it. The next time they cut even a single penny from my account, and i am going to throw away my airtel sim forever. Airtel sucks in this.
