Complaint against balance deduction
Dear Sir/Madam,

*This is to draw your attention towards the way Airtel company treats their
customer.

I am having a prepaid connection with Airtel. Its a lifetime connection.

On 15-07-2011 at 3:54:22 pm I received a message from AD-54321 containing “Thanks for downloading hungama content game from Airtel.you have been charged Rs 40.” & when I check my balance Rs 40 has been deducted from there.

Sir, I haven't download any type of game & not even receive any game on my mobile but they deduct my balance .

Same instance also happens to me before.

I called Airtel Customer Care, where they were saying that you have downloaded the game through Airtel live.but Airtel live is not activated on my Mobile.Then, Customer care Executive said “I will forward your complaint to my senior official & they give me Ref no. 3071525655100

& Till today (18-07-2011) I haven't receive any resolution for my complaint, but received a message from airtel service that “If you are satisfied with the resolution of your complaint...”

This has been ridiculous.This is too stressing for me. I am using this number since last 3 years
and this is very important for me to have this number. & by doing such cheap activities you are forcing me to change my operator from Airtel to another operator.

The company all of sudden can't behave so irresponsible.

Please help me out...

do not disturb service

i am many times requested to active do not disturb service but your costomer care center has not congnizance nor any action to be taken. Hence you are once again requested to active do not disturb service.

Balance deduction in the name game download & other services without any permission
Sir/madam
My name is Ram Preet Verma I'm regular customer of airtel last 4 years & using airtel no.9958140633 And i am in problem of balance deduction in the name of games download other services.Here is details of balance deduction:
MBIZGame 12/12/10 Rs 50 on 12/12/2010 time 8:20 PM.

After calling and discussion about balance deduction complains to customer care they registered my complains or not i don't know but again deduct my all balance and provided me automatic service in this term.

In the starting Position my balance is 95.95 Rs and in last check its become negative Rs 5.
Now when I am trying to contact to complaint section my call is being disconnected purposefully. please help me to teach the network providers a lesson to value their customers. please escalate them about this carelessness from customer care representatives and avoid occurance of such problem to common consumer.

1. I am a class one gazetted officer of the Indian Air Force. On getting posted to Air Foce Academy, Dundigal, Hyderabad, I purchased a prepaid Airtel sim no: 8897316477 from a retailer in the campus on 31st Dec 09.

2. I had gone for an important official duty to Coimbatore from 09th Jan 10 to 31 st Jan 10. On 15th Jan 10 my sim got deactivated without any warning like sms or a call from the customer care. Neither could i call anyone nor could i call up the customer care as to what has happened.

3. On finding out the reason for the deactivation from the retailer who had provided the sim to me, he informed that probably the airtel office has rejected the application form stating that the photo I had submitted is not valid.

4. On returning back to Hyderabad, I approached the Airtel Headoffice at Hyderabad and was directed to contact the airtel area manager of my locality for help. On contacting the area manager Mr Vinay, he refused to help me to get my phone activated nor did he get the balance in my mobile, paid back to me.

5. Upon my asking to get my documents pulled out for verification and to find out as to why have they rejected my application, Mr Vinay(Area Manager Airtel) refused to get them from the headoffice of airtel and show them to me.

6. As I mentioned, I am a class one gazetted offiecer of the Indian Air Force and had provided all the necessary documents as asked for with the application. These documents included my photograph in uniform, xerox of my driving license with photograph in uniform and the certificate of my residential address at the place of my posting attested by the Adjutant.

7. Firstly I would like to know first of all as to why have the airtel office has rejected my application stating that my photograph is not valid. And if they have rejected my application why havent they informed me by an sms or a call for the reason of my sim's deactivation.

8. Thirdly, why i am not been shown my own documents with the coments of the Airtel official who has rejected my application.

9. And lastly, the airtel area manager (Mr Vinay) is here for the customer's help and not to harrass them by stating that "If you want to verify your documents, then please get them yourself from the headoffice located at Warangal."

Unnecessary Deductions
I really dont understan on why airtel is deducting money for no reason i generally dont download or opt for any service like cricket etc. but still the scores are sent to my mobile and even after frequent calls to the customer care the money is getting deducted. The people in customer care do give a reply that in four hours the service will be de-activated but two days later once again i receive scores and money gets deducted. I wonder if complaints are read and actions are taken by airtel.

Harresment
I am recently posted at Bikaner, Rajasthan, got a new prepaid number from one local shop on 30.08.09. the number is 9784532135, I had submitted all the required docs and completed all the formalaties. itwas activated on the next day.

Now the problem starts, on 3rd sep i went on field visit for three days and surprisingly came to know that my mobiles incommong and outgoing services are fully stoped without letting me know any cause. even i was unable to call to the cusomer care(121). .Finaly i contacted to district salas manager Mr.Gaurav Nagar at bikaner, who said that it happened due to negative FR, so you have to submmit all ur docs again. i did the same but even after that nothing has been done so far.

I m wondering that the company making huge profit does nt concern abt greavances as they do not have any such number or email to write the complaint.
How one can play with the essential and neccessery services like Mr. Gaurav nagar and Mukesh gupta at bikaner. so far i did nt get any satisfaction and lost my faith in companies policy and the way of handling, even this is more pethetic if company people will become more strange and rude; for Instance: when i said to them to complaint against their behavior they were very strange and challanged to do any thing .

I am using airtel services since long time whereever i go. basically from delhi but this time i m very upset and disatisfied.looking forward for ur response.

Deactivation
Ref: Migration of post-paid numbers 9880306171 & 9880716416 to pre-paid numbers. [Jurisdiction: Bangalore City]

1 Please note, the migration was to the same subscriber; under the same name, same billing address, same phone number, same SIM card number.
1.1 All documents required [as mentioned on the Migration Form AND by the representatives at Airtel Outlet] had been submitted [on 05/08/09 and 11/08/09 respectively]
1.2 Re-charge amounts of Rs.198 per number have been submitted.
1.3 Post submission, extra documents were required [as directed by phone calls from Airtel]. They have also been submitted, in person.
1.4. Please note, the requirement of these extra documents was never mentioned in any form or at the Airtel Outlet initially.
2. were initially activated [on different dates].
2.1 Both numbers were threatened to be de-activated [by Airtel official calls] citing “incomplete documentation” as reason.
3. To prevent [2.1]:
3.1 Subscriber has visited Airtel Outlet no less than 4 times.
3.2 Subscriber has had conversations with Airtel officials [of various ranks] no less than 10 times.
3.3 Subscriber has been assured of non-deactivation on every occasion.
3.4 Subscriber has been assured by Airtel that no further documentation is necessary.
4. Post [3.], both numbers were activated [on different dates].
5. On 21/08/09 all outgoing calls were barred on both numbers.
5.1 Reason cited was again “incomplete documentation”.
5.2 As a result, users of the above mentioned numbers have missed job appointments, professional appointments, educational appointments and social appointments resulting in financial loss and severe mental trauma.

6. With respect to [5.2] what financial damages can I seek from Airtel under legal supervision?

Deductions
After Calling more than 20 times to customer care still deductions in my account is continue. What? to do hell by having these complaint numbers or to stop my connection

Extra amount deducted from balance!
1) I'm airtel prepaid customer. My validity is till 4th december but still my outgoing was barred for around 6 hrs. on contact with customer care they replied that it will get activated within 10 mins. But it took around 6 hrs.

2) According to service charges for local A2A sms are 0.30.But they have deducted 3 rps per sms from my existing balance today (28th September 2007).

This is cheating, beware!

Bad customer care + IVR
Hi , I never had any problem with your service overall even though its expensive but its really a nightmare contacting your customer care, i really avoid talking or even calling your toll free numbers. 1)The IVR which you guys have, it doesn't have any easy way to speak to the representative directly and now the VOICE SYSTEM that you have introduced it SUCKS badly, i speak the same exact word again eg CUSTOMER CARE your system doesn't recognize it and it hungs up on me.2)And above all when i m connected after a a lot of hard work the agent of your company puts the cal on hold and disconnects after some time. I wanted airtel live service on my cell from last 10 months now the issue never got resolved and after all the worst exp. which i had with your company (Customer care)i was pissed off and i never called back.... Please ensure customer satisfaction otherwise me and my family will switch over to HUTCH as their Cust service is good. But we don't want to do that as we like airtel. And i m not blaming anyone , just putting forward my suggestion thats it. To implement or not is your wish entirely.
