I bought a nokia cell phone from Airtel, Mirambica Telecom on 11-12-07. The correct documents were submitted at this time. About 3 days later, I had to submit the documents again. Then on 28-12-07, my phone was shut off by airtel. They stated that the documents were not submitted. I have been talking to airtel coutomer service and Mirambica telecom and airtel @ Reliance refinery. I have been told every day for a week, that the phone would be turned on the next day. I was told today, 04-01-08, that there was to be a conference call between airtel, reliance airtel, Mirambica and my driver, Bazil. My driver told me that they had the confrence and my phone would be turned on by 8:00 tonight. Well, guess what???????????? I STIL DO NOT HAVE A PHONE.....................
I have 2300 RP'S on the sms card and I cant use it. I am here on business for Reliance, from the USA. I have to have a phone to do my job and it is the only way I have contact with my family in the USA.
Please, either turn my phone back on OR give me a refund and I will go buy a phone somewhere else.
