The worst nightmare I has had, was , when i called up AIRTEL customer care in chennai. They are unable to resolve my issue, or have some courtesy towards the customer (ME). My issue was that my balance was depleting everyday whenever I am in roaming. My HOME NETWORK is chennai, and my mobile would be in ROAMING when I go to Bangalore. And jus to make sure, when i was in roaming, i made sure that i did not pick up any call, or send any SMS. I receive SMS, but the CC clarified that INCOMING SMS is free (HOPE, IT IS). First time , when i called AIRTEL CC, they took a complaint and said that they would get back in 24 hours, which they never did. I called up again, and describe my issue once again. Again i was taken for a ride. And I had to recharge and update my validity just to keep my number alive. I wonder if there is any HIDDEN charges levied by AIRTEL, which a customer does not know.
Surprisingly, the approach of CC irks anyone. Sometimes i wonder how AIRTEL hired such am impolite CC staff. And that includes a senior personal when i called for the 7th time!!!!!!
Anyone could imagine the frustration and agony i went through!
I still remember this supervisor telling me "ITS UP TO YOU", when i asked him " should i take my AIRTEL mobile with me when i go on ROAMING". Finally i ended up recharging my mobile jus to keep my number alive, my balance still depletes everyday, I am too tired and frustrated to call the worst CC I came across.
Well, AIRTEL cant afford a polite CC team to handle its customer issues. They have to carry out with unskilled and non-professional CC agents.
I planned to RECORD the conversation with Airtel CC, so that other users would know how Airtel CC will be. Finally guys, check out if your a charged for nothing (for receiving incoming messages!!)
