Alabama Board Of Nursing Reviews

The alabama board of nursing Is not fair to employees
The alabama board of nursing Is not fair to employees. When the employer files a complaint agaisnt your license they disrupt your life for almost two or three years & only @ the end they believe the employer. I was fired 01/08/2008 from having an slip & fall accident on the job, I fell on my knee which was damanged badly. Parkwood allowed me to work for 1 month after I got the xrays from my doctor. When my employer looked @ extent of my damanges on my knee they fired me on 11/08/2008. I was hired on 11/07/2007. All though I was fired I was approved to receive workers compensation of $373 weekly. 1 month after I was fired & receiving my disability, I received a complaint from the alabama board of nursing. They did not put what the complaint was about. Then the investgator told me the complaint was about, me giving medicine to patients improperly. He told me the complaint was filed two weeks after they fired me. He said they are accusing me of putting medicine on patients food treys, I told him I was allowed to continue to give medication to patients even on the day I was fired. I asked him why was I allowed to continue to give medication after being accused of this & why I wasn't fired that day, I know It's all lies. Because they are after me because of the workers compensation. Know I receive a letter from my lawyer they are giving me two options, Its obviously they are believing parkwood's story. Because they want me to either plead guilty or request a hearing. I am not pleading guilty because all the lies parkwood Is telling the board. I am fighting this. That would be pretty stupid for me to admit guilt that would admitting to It that Is stupid. I am going to request a hearing. Parkwood Is not going to get away with trying to ruin my career. Then the board says I need to take a course on how to give medicine to patients I am not taking this course, I have been giving medicine to patients for the past 20 years. I have never had a complaint agaisnt my license, but I am not going to let parkwood get away with filing false charges. I will fight this to the very end. Even If It means not working has a nurse, I don't care to work has a nurse after what parkwood Is putting me threw.
