Firstable ALAMO, NATIONAL, ENTERPRISE are all handled by the same company all the workers switch stations everyother day.
I know the people that work there and see them on a regular basis.
I hear them talking about making commission on the fools that come without a reservation and jacking up the regular prices or pushing for
other features to those who have reservations also to get commissions I've heard them speak of commissions of $300 to $600 on single customers

anyway, One weekend they were running a special for $10/day for the weekend, I decided to go away with a friend and went on to rent a car

because I knew them they decided to give me a nice luxury vehicle which I took no questions ask, just so happened that weekend I had come down with a mild cold and my nose was stuffed up
I took the car and went on to pick up my friend, when I got to her place She Smells this strong odor, her comments resembled that episode of Seinfeld, except that the smell was of "POT"
my friend noticed, but we decided togo on on our weekend stoping at a store and buying Air Fhreshners, on the road we get to a Police check point, not fearing anything we obey the officers and pull over to the side as multiple police cars surround my rental.

we get extracted off the vehicle a police dog comes over and he goes crazy, the officers lock us up in different vehicles and leave us for a while, not being able to see what is going on I began stressing and got a bit angry,
finally the come back and inform me that I'm under arrest for possesion of marihuana, with intent to sell.

anyway after spending 5 days in jail trying to proof I was innoscent eventually a drug test and the pristine record of my friend and Iwe go free. So now that I was partially free there was the matter of 3/4 pouds of "POT" that was found in the back seat of my rental, the police wanted their man, and so did I. we went back to the car rental place to fight another war now one that was very obvious and the extra fees now that had piled up.

after dealing with the agent who rented me the car she practically told me that I was "Screwed" and had to pay the extra days/fees. And totally denying all liability due to the fact that I did not return the car immediatelly. I was completely over the edge. but the officer was with me snooping in his own way and I did not want another trip to the slammer, he adviced me to let it go and leave.

The Officeer and I begin to walk back to his vehicle which was outside, as we walk out of the airport a service agent from the rental company comes out of a car the officer immediatelly seeks after him, getting on his radio he follows the individual who is shuttling cars for the company, The Office detected an odor and was on him like an old bloodhound.

needless to say after hearing the company agent trying to blame the previous customers that had the vehicle to trying to blame me for the smell., and releasing all liability.

in jail the guy shuttling the cars, the boyfriend of the girl that rented me the car confesses that he's been smoking while at work and that he uses the cars sometimes to score some weed near by for the weekend, admitting to having lost 1 pound of weed the friday before still I'm not able to peaccefully resolve this matter with the rental company.

I'm forced now to get my lawyer involved and making this a bigger issue than what it needs to

PEOPLE BE AWARE, at least at ALBANY, INTERNATIOINAL in ALBANY NY the CAR RENTAL COMPANIES ALAMO, NATIONAL, ENTERPRISE are run by the same people and dealing a lot of shanannigans that will
Put you at risk.

Dont approach them without a reservation and don't believe what they say
