They keep your hard earned money and operation capital blocked for a month or more
People should never go with AlertPay. They are worst payment gateways in the world. They keep your hard earned money and operation capital blocked for a month or more. They do not release the whole amount in a month. They will count the days from the days they customer has paid for each transaction. Even they will charge you $10 on cancellation of any transaction.
They keep the huge money of customers for their own interest and invest them elsewhere to earn benefits. If you are small business owner then going with AlertPay will be a suicide. They never be the alternative for PayPal, Moneybookers, 2 Check Out, CC Avenue or any other payments gateway in the world. They are taking advantage of PayPal’s recent issues with RBI.
AlertPay will make you cry. Don’t allow them to expand. Let their business closed. I am planning to sue then in consumer court too. I’ll keep posting the complaints against AlertPay every where so that people can be saved from this evils. Join me in this campaign to root out AlertPay.

alertpaystole money
Don't use Alertpay! They easily took money out of my account 1600.00 dollars to be exact. Then locked my account after I sent a relative money, even after verifying myself and telling me the problem was resolved. They didn't lock my account or my relatives account until my relative tried to withdraw the funds that I sent them. It was money she needed by june 1st and they've locked our accounts. Now my funds are stuck in alertpay, I can't have them returned to my account with a lock on it. I want my money back and that stupid account closed. I've filed a report with BBB, and I'm seeking a Lawyer. Don't ever go through them. I did research before hand and found nothing bad until now. They are THIEVES!!! They come up with all of these extra security measures AFTER they take your money out. Why not before? Once again they are THIEVES!!!

Alertpay has taken my money also. They not only restricted my accounts by locking them and not giving me access to them because of "chargebacks" they say were caused admittedly by THEIR Alertpay payment processor because of transactions that did not go through due to electronic errors on THEIR part, but they also will not close the accounts - which tells me they are keeping my accounts open so they can collect money from them that is mine and belongs to me, and then not give me access to it!!! Isn't that called stealing??? They also told me they are not only not allowing me access to my accounts, but that they, ALERTPAY ACTUALLY TOOK MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT BEING AUTHORIZED BY ME TO EVEN DO IT -- they said it was to pay for "chargebacks" they say occurred because of THEIR payment processor WHICH THEY ADMIT was not even working at the time I was trying to do a transaction. They even admitted it was an electronic error!!! I really hope they are shut down soon, but until they are, I would like access to the funds that are in my accounts that I have with them, Alertpay.com, and to be refunded for the money they unlawfully took from my accounts!!!

Fraud
I have had very bad experience with this company as a Merchant.
It started with proof of my address, which was submitted at the time, but nobody checked it and they disabled my account for their own mistake. I was then not able to receive payments and lot of users complained. I lost lot of sales. It took so long time to verify and ofcourse for 2 times.
Second was received charback for payment from credit card. I was never warned that i can get chargeback and users can pay by card. Then i just accepted that and disabled credit card payments. There is no point to accept credit cards through alertpay, if i already accept them normally. Lot of fraudsters rather use Alertpay credit card payment, because they know there is very weak antifraud prevention and merchant can't do so much against it as in normal payment gateways.
Support at alertpay said me if i dont want to have chargebacks, i can disable credit cards.
Well, just until today. I received chargeback for absolutely normal sending funds. No credit card was used. They explained this pretty simply: 'This payment was reversed because the sender had unknowingly come into possession of fraudulent funds.'.
It doesn't gives any logic to support chargebacks for account to account transfer. Moneybookers doesnt have chargebacks, there is just no point to use Alertpay then. Then there is really no advantage of this method against credit cards and i find such payment system useless.
Every merchant should realize, that there is very few possible fraud checks you can make on Alerpay Transfer. You don't have BIN of the user, you have only e-mail address, which could even not belong to person who is making fraud. Its almost impossible to detect and prevent Alertpay fraud, and merchant has to accept to pay all possible fraud losses. What merchants pay the fees for ? Its not small fees.
There is also case of friendly fraud. Why not just start TOR, login to my Alerpay account, purchase as much as possible and after 2 weeks, when all items reach me i will just claim my account has been hijacked and get the money back. Then i can just create new account to start it again and again. Fraud has never been easier. Alerpay makes it easier.
One other thing is, how they can proove you there has been really fraud ? They just take your money and then you have to accept it. What is the real value on payment system like this, that there is no fraud risk. Alertpay misses this value. If merchants are responsible for losses, Alertpay will even not be forced to do somehting about it. They just collect fees and thats all their concern.

Stupid scammer website
Okay so i think alertpay is a really stupid way to pay for stuff online. Your way better off using paypal. When i made an account on alertpay. I added my credit card. "PrePaid" and when i did that, it showed that my credit card was disabled. I didnt know why becuz i use my credit card with paypal, ebay and all them fun sites and it works perfectly fine with thme. But with alertpay theres a problem. So i contacted them about this saying why u guys disabled me credit card. Got no reply back at all. So i emailed them back again and still no reply. So everytime i go on Alertpay website. It goes offline and i can never get on there website anymore. Im guessing they got my ip and blocked me for no reason as to i asked them afew question on it. So this is why i think alertpay is a really stupid website to pay with.
