To Whom It May Concern,
I took my Blackberry Storm II to VodaWorld Repairs about 2weeks ago. I booked in the phone and gave all the faults with the device! Which was "Freezing, powering off, rattling speaker and Resetting"
Now, I booked in the phone on Saturday the 07/05/2011. Then to be contact the next day 08/05/2011 at 10.00 to collect the phone. I called to confirm if all was done and the person I spoke to confirmed that it was.
I left the East rand to arrive at VodaWorld Repairs before the closing hour. But to arrive to a phone which was not repaired! The speaker still rattled thus knowing the device was still faulty. I asked to speak to a manager in store to find out why was I advised to come and collect my faulty phone. But, no manager was in to my questions, this according to the agents there. So I had to explain once again what the issue was with the phone and rebook it in!
On the 17/05/2011 I receive the collection sms. So, I went to collect the phone the following day 18/05/2011.
I was happy to receive the refurbished device, but when I had asked if the battery was exchanged the agent said not the battery is fine. When I looked and the battery it was not my battery, my phone was in excellent condition and not beaten! I advised the agent that the battery was not mine as it was in bad shape. I asked for another battery, but he said I would need to book the device in so that it may be replaced.
Now, I understand that there are procedures to follow in order to be organized! But this was really unacceptable! But I agree to take the battery.
I have had now the phone for only one day, but yet I have had to charge the battery twice!! My previous battery lasted me nearly 3days!!
I need this battery to be replaced as this is not in working condition!!
My complaints don't end here! I have logged several calls in regards to poor signal/reception at my residence! I have had endless stories being told to me. My friend had a booster installed at his residence, why cannot this be done for me?
All I want is the service that I'm paying for, nothing more nothing less! I need the phone as I use it everyday due to the emailing functionality.
Honestly, this is very poor service from a company such as Vodacom!
