Hello all, well I have a serious issue with various stores like Home Depot, Walmarts and Shoppers Drug Mart with service at the cash. Every time I go into a Home Depot at prime contractor hours which is early morning, there's 18 cash registers but only two are being used. At those two there's a line up of elderly people with cart full of plants and we are on a tight daily schedule. Basically from the time I walk in and get my materials and walk to the cash, it might take me 15 minutes but then it takes much longer to pay for my items. That makes no sense. Service with a smile, ya right, it's not a smile, they friggin laughin at us idiots waiting in line. I have a lot of respect for the elderly but you know, your retired so shop after 5pm for you damn flowers. I'm trying to work towards a retirement plan here. Anyhow, it's not their fault. At Shoppers, there was a line up practically down an isle, I told the cashier to get on the horn and call for the other cash to open. I just don't get it, well lets not even talk about that damn sku that's missing when you finally make it to a cash.

The guys that work in the warehouse and deliver your furniture, (both drivers and helpers) are drug users. The store only does an initial drug test upon hire which everyone of them purchased fake urine on the internet to pass! The drivers helpers DO NOT GET RANDOM TESTS!!
These are people that we as consumers allow into our houses! Several warehouse employees show up daily either drunk from the night before or high off the drugs or pills they're addicted to. One of the driver helpers has even recently been arrested. His name is Mike Nguyen. He was arrested for resisting arrest, drug possession (cocaine & marijuanna) and disorderly conduct on May 23rd, 2010. I can not belive this employer isn't taking the proper/necessary steps for the consumers safety! I nor anyone that I know will be buying furniture @ this place anymore!

I am an electronic technician since more than 40 years. I worked for different companies as bench repair tech for any consumer and pro units.
I am wondering about all consumer manufacturers, no matter is they make TVs, cameras, GPS, mp3 players, etc.
MY POINT IS THIS: I think they put a timer in every unit operation system software that COUNTS the working hours to have the unit "stop working" or "be broken".
Remember that all Manufacture companies want to make money. I thing when you buy some TV, Radio, PC, etc. You don't really buy it, you rent it because many manufacturers don't want to sell parts, services manuals to us. Tech support today is poor.
Anyways, think about my comments, think about possible TIMER in today's devices. Every electronic device has an operation system or OS built in. Make a survey and you will find out that TVs for example won't last more than a year, or may be two.
And I think about this: If that is happening (talking about a Timer in every unit OS), then the government, the state consumer affair, or federal consumer affair should investigate this matter. That way we are not rip off that often, and our planet would not be so contaminated with all this garbage.

I see all companies making claims of free products and/or services that are free, but what they don't tell you from the beginning is that you still have to pay for something to get something. I'm NOT sorry, In my opinion, If I have to pay for anything the "free" product and/or service is NOT free. I consider this false advertisement in raw form. If I have a business and tell consumers that I have a free product and /or service, you can bet it IS free, THAT MEANS NO COST OR OBLIGATION TO CONSUMERS!

Personal Experience:
I work at a convenience store and I deal with a lot fo smokers (I mean a lot) and within the first two weeks of the introduction of the "fire safe" cigarettes, almost every one of my cigarette customers came in with a lost voice, and were complaining of their throats hurting more after smoking these FSC cigarettes.

My grandma in law is also having a problem with them. Because she has to relight her cigarettes all of the time she has been burning herself/setting stuff on fire because the embers go everywhere when she lights the previous ashes from a cigarette that hasn't been puffed on for a whole 15 seconds.
