I bought an engine to be mounted in my car as the original engine had broken was was not worth while fixing.
1st they took 1 week to install the engine as they kept starting work on car that arrived 3 days after mine and instead of fixing my car and getting it done they would leave it until i walked into the business everyday to see what was going on.

2nd once they had finally mounted the new engine they called me to come in as there was something wrong and they gave me a long story that some1 must have put sugar in my petrol tank and that was why my original engine broke they then wanted to charge me more labor and parts to get the job done. I then told them to go ahead and just do what needed to be done as i needed the car (this was at 1pm, I then left and got home from work and went to see how things where going and got there to find once again they hadn't done anything on my car and they where fixing a new car.) so i took the car to a good friends of mine to get the job finished and he went and checked my petrol tank for sugar ect and as suspected there was nothing in my tank. the next day I went to get a part from them and found out that before they called me to tell me about the sugar they had started another clients car in gear and it ran threw their front desk so as far as I can picture this there was obviously sugar in their front desk and this is how the suger happened to land up in my carburetor and they would not confess to this.

I then took the car back to them once my friend had done what they took 4 days to do they then tried to start the car and get it running, it took them another 5 days to just start and tune it but they could only get it to start and idle for a few seconds before it died, so i took it back to my friend and it took him half a day to get it running and the problem was they had installed a new petrol pump and did not place the spacer on as they should have thus causing a brand new petrol pump that i had paid for to break they refuse to pay me for the petrol pump that they broke due to incorrect installation. they also mounted my engine incorrectly and now im forced to have the hole job done again from scratch. so all in all i wasted well over R6000 by them to get my car working and now im forced to spend who knows how much to have it redone.

if anyone can tell me where to go to get a proper complaint made or how i can get my money back from them for doing such a crap job please let me know.
