Via email, I contacted Allbrands for an estimate on a specific product and they answered with what I thought was the product I was asking about. Not being an expert on the product codes, I took it on good faith that what they quoted me was what I asked for. It turns out that when I ordered what they suggested, it did not come is as I specified it, and they charged me case price for an individual item, instead of the other way around.
I repeatedly contacted Allbrands' owner by phone and email and never received a response. By the way, it was the owner who gave me the original price quote. When I did finally reach him, he blamed me for ordering the wrong item, and would not discuss the issue any further. In essence, I spent $150.00 on something that should have cost me $29.99.
This incident has been reported to the BBB.
Be careful what you order online from this company!
