run around
Over priced for service. Assured me they were the cheapist and would work with you on payments plans even if you couldnt get a loan espically if you have insureance and a working job which i had. So it was all false statements. Office manager was very rude with me as well as my sister who also went in to get a qoute. Told me that my drink i had with me was nasty and full of germs, I take a drink with me everywere i go have very dry mouth due to illnesses. Treated my sister like she was dumb because she didnt know what kind of denture to pick and what the differnaces was which he was treating us like were dumb because we dont know bewteen 1-5 kinds of dentures, and molds of teeth.
Lost my husband credt appicaltion to see if he could be a cosigner, ignored are phone calls, never called back when they said the would etc.

PAYMENT PLAN
When I first visited Allcare Dental they shoved a finance form in my face to fill out. i asked the lady how come I had to fill out this paper if I plan to pay it myself. She said they required all patients to fill out these papers. I didn't want A credit plan or another credit card. My dental insurance hasn't even recieved a bill yet and I was first seen by the dentist on 1/30/09. After I recieved the bill from care credit I called them and cancelled my credit limit on 2/26/2009 conf #2660. Then I called and spoke with Christopher about my problems concerning the account. Afterwards I called and spoke to Melissa at Allcare Dental & she said they would be able to return the money to Care Credit. At the same time I found out there was a glich and the billing information didn't make it to my dental provider. She resent the bill to my provider. On 2/26/09 I went to their office and paid them $300.00. However, there still isn't any information online with my provider at this time. I still dont have any information from my provider stating what I'm required to pay. I also left a message for the finance manager at Allcare to call me on 2/27/09. I'm still waiting on his call. However, now I'm going in to see him Monday 3/9 to fix this problem. Today I recieved a call from an inhouse collection person named Mark saying I was behind in my payments. I tried to explain to him what has happened but it didn't concern him. So now I have went online and made a payment of $200.00 which is more than they show me oweing. Now I'm in the middle of a mess that I didn't ask for. Thanks, Brian

Terrible service
I have been a patient at Allcare Dental & Dentures for almost a year. It has been a steady downhill experience. I am quite sure that the people that are fitting you for dentures that you will have to wear for years are not qualified to do it. I have had as many as 20 impressions. My first experience after having my teeth removed was to get a set of temporaries that I was supposed to wear for 6 months until my gums healed. They were enormous and made me look like I had had Botox injections. I called them back and they told me that the temporaries were not exact and that they would try to do something with them. After about 5 visits and taking a picture of myself so they could see what I looked like before, they were able to get them fairly to scale with my face. The only thing that they didn't do was to make them fit. They were huge and I had to use powders, pastes, etc just to get them to stay in. These were supposed to be in my mouth for 6 months while my mouth was apparently healing. How do people manage when they go and have dentures put in right after surgery and they are the permanent teeth??!! I had never heard of this process and neither have any of the other people that I know of that have dentures.
Anyway, when I first signed up for this, the office manager assured me that I would be getting the best quality dentures. I did sign up for the most expensive ones (at his advice). Finally after about 8 months of waiting for the permanent ones, I went into the office only to be told that the upper plate was in, but the lower one was still being made. They had switched labs for the lower plates??? Again, never heard of this. I was pleasant and took the upper plate home and tried to wear it.. It was quite painful, but I was told that it would adjust to my mouth. When I finally went back for the lower plate, the dentist just handed them to me and left the room. She never even looked to see if they fit properly. When I got home, I realized that they weren't the product that I had signed up for. I called them and they told me that I would have to return as the dentist could not remember what she had just placed in my mouth an hour ago. I am quite sure that she realized it wasn't what I had been paying for and instead of being upfront with me, she just let me leave with them. Her excuse for that was once again the lab and that I wasn't the only one to have this happen. She wanted me to just accept it and leave. I wanted a refund, which I got, but I still don't believe that it is a correct amount. I had to ask for the receipt. I have been calling the customer service line for days. It is a voice mail service which asks for your name and phone # and they state someone will call you back promptly. They don't. I have yet to speak to a person about these concerns.
I am still having troubles with these dentures. I would like to have someone look at them again. I am still wondering if the upper plate is what I signed up for, but I can't trust them after what happened with the lower plate. I know of 2 other people that have gone to this place and have had similar problems. I have reported them to the BBB.
I have more issues that have come up with this company, but don't have the time to put it all down. My main concern is that they are not the correct product that I have been paying for consistently and that they will never fit correctly. Also, it isn't a good thing for a dentist to avoid you and basically lie to your face. In my opinion, Allcare Dental & Dentures is a definite ripoff and one would be wise to avoid them at all costs.
