Awful experience
I have had a very similar experience... I think this has something to do with our great government(make me throw up... all they care about are their selves and the CEO's of certain companies[that's why the BAIL OUT failed, not that they were worried about us, but for their lobbyists] - anyway... you can not reach them (Allied) - Outsourced to India, just like my job was... I tried numerous times to contact them, I even tried all the options to get someone on the phone... no luck... just kept on hold..and the original person who called... their mailbox is always full... no way to get a response back...

Terrible experience
Allied Interstate has been calling my cell phone number and then hanging up when I would answer. I used my home phone and called the number that showed on my cell phone. After pushing English button a man came on the phone. I said some one called my cell phone from this number. He wanted to know what my number was and I said not before you tell me who you are. He said this is Allied Interstate. I said okay I would like to speak to your complaints department. He said we don't have one. I wasn't surprised. He then went into trying to collect data from me. I said thank you and hung up. They weren't interested in helping me so why should I help them.

Harassment
You are not allowed to call more than one time per day. Your number has been on my caller ID over 10 times today alone. I will report this to the FCC if it continues. Not leaving messages is completely unprofessional and unnecessary. When I try to call back, I get someone who doesn't seem to speak a word of English. I don't know who you are or who you represent (see the "no message" line above), but I have no business with you, and will not deal with you until you can conduct business in a proper and LEGAL manner.

Harassment and threats
This company started calling me in October 2007 on my job and leaving a recorded message to call a telephone number back when you call the number back you get a recording no name and no company name is given when the person finally answer the telephone they attempt to get you to give them your bank account information they make threats of calling you job and telling your supervisor that you owe them money they never give you an account number nor do they say why they are calling they even demanded that I get my lawyer to call them.
They have been calling me from October 2007 to December 2007 continuously with saying why they are calling and what is owed to them in December 2007 the calls ended and they started up again in July 2008 they call anytime of the day and leave messages they were asked after call five in October 2007 to cease any communications with me they have refused to do so.

Harassing calls
My complaint against this company is that they keep calling and calling even after we have told them that the people they are calling for Do Not even live in this house.
The people they leave messages for on my phone are folks I had never heard of until Allied started calling!
How can you stop that? We have called their number once, but twice to inform them of the error. The calls stopped for about 2 weeks, started again and are now a daily occurrence. We will call them again, but I doubt it will last long again. Help!

Harassment
Allied Interstate calls at all hours of the day and evening. They leave messages asking that we return their calls. When I call, the recording says that "no one is here to talk to you" or "that mailbox has not been set up yet".
The people who call from Allied Interstate ask about a person who does not live here, and does not have our phone #. We have repeatedly told them that we are not the person they are looking for--and to stop calling us.
The 2 times that I was able to leave a message, I explained all of this and asked that they not call us again. That lasted about 2 weeks and the calls started again, today!!!

Won’t take me off the list
This company keeps calling. I've called them to ask them to remove my number. Gave them my number. They said they'd remove it. They didn't. They call again and again. I spoke to a manager by the name of David and he assured me that my name would be taken off the list. The problem is...that I've heard this same assurance from other managers before. AND THEY NEVER STOP CALLING! I'm looking for an address that I can send a cease and desist letter to...if anyone has that address...please do share it so we can all get rid of these VERMIN.

Violating calls
Allied Interstate called us 071308 Sunday at 8:15am to speak with my husband. I asked the girl who's calling: Allied Interstate. I had heard of this collection agency through my Customer Service Representative place of employment and knew enough to say: Take us off your calling and mailing lists immediately. It is Sunday morning. DO NOT CALL and hung up after the girl said: I'm sorry for interrupting you.
A call to the FTC 877.382.4357 indicated the office closed on weekends, call 9-6 EST.
Our bills are current and up to date. I don't know where they got our name/phone#.

Harassing calls
I just had a collector call me I asked a simple question about me account - he couldn’t help said he didn’t know what kind of collectors u got working there...maybe they should know what there doing before making a call.. I simple say ok goodbye and he called me back...only allowed to call 1 per day...maybe a go back threw the laws meeting would be great for your company . I used to be a bill collector for 4 years and we wouldn’t get a way with anything like that. They screened all our calls...

Harassing calls
Received calls for several months from Allied Interstate. I Do Not Owe anyone and it appears they are 'fishing or hunting' for some one else. Even returned a call to their 800 number one time and the 'threatening message' was horrendous. Called the State Attorney General's Office, they advised I send a letter advising they must NOT contact this phone number again. Sent letter certified mail, but Allied refused to accept. Again called AG office and they referred me to the FTC. Called and filed a complaint. Everyone must call and file a complaint. 877 382 4357. The more calls to the FTC the better outcome for the consumer.
