ATG website had an Estimated delivery date of 11/16. On 11/15 there was a new estimated ship date of 12/03. I contacted shipper and they informed me that ATG would have to authorize an earlier ship date.
I contacted ATG and Scott informed me there was nothing he could do. I asked to speak to a manager. I received a call back 5 hours later from Andrew. Andrew informed me again that there was nothing they could do to improve the shipping date.
I explained that the product was to be used for out of town guests arriving for Thanksgiving and that I would need to purchase a product from somewhere else if they could not meet the original committment and that I no longer wanted the item.
Andrew informed me that I would have a 50% restocking fee if I did not keep the item once it arrived. I again explained that I would not have purchased it knowing that it would not arrive until December. I again expressed my desire to cancel the order. I asked him to wave the restocking fee as it would not be removed from the box. Andrew was unwilling to be reasonable. I do not feel I should have to pay over $180 for something that I will not be able to use and would not have purchased if the expected delivery date on the website would have been accurate.
