I had relocated and needed to get auto insurance in the new state. I shopped online and Allstate seemed to have the best price. They issued a proof of coverage printout, but almost immediately notified me by mail that they were not going to provide coverage. When I called to try and straighten things out all I got was an out sourced representative who could barely speak English and could not tell me what the problem was.
I got insurance from State Farm instead.
Allstate is now sending me bills from a collection agency for $38.29 for the day or two of "coverage" they claim to have provided.
