After 12 years of having insurance and no miss payments, Im terminated due to non payment. I relocated out of state and my home still needed insurance. I scheduled payments each month according to the statements I recieved from my agent who fails to return any of my calls.
I got a card at my new address from my agent stating he discovered I have a new address and that it may make my premium change . I figured its not my house in a new address. It was still in Texas and needed insurance. I kept paying $58 a month and for three months I did not know my insurance went up causing me to not make enough payments. This I know is not good but if they could contact me letting me know they have a new address then why not let me know the payments have changed. It seems as though since they canceled my windstorm insurance they also didnt like me making claims eventhough that is what insurance is for. It was scandelous that they wont even listen to me saying I didnt know the payments went up and I didnt get any mail. They refunded me the three months and all I had to do was send them $69. Now I'm cancelled due to non payment. My agent wont help me get reinstated and treat me with no concern about how this happened. Now I spending all my time trying to find a replacement and no one wants to touch it unless it cost me an arm and a leg. Its sad what companies will do the save them money . Whats the point of having insurance if they aren't there when you need them the cancel after they see they paying out too much. "Your in Good hands with Allstate" I dont think so.
