Here's a followup to my post I made on 6 Sep.
On 7 Sep, Alphanex agreed via email to credit my account $56, but did not do so. I contacted my credit card company to resolve this. They said I had to wait 30 days from the date that Alphanex said they would credit the account before they could take action. So, I waited with no credit for $56 hitting my account. Again, I called my credit card company. They sent me the appropriate paperwork which I filled out and returned with receipts and copies of emails and phone bills. More waiting. I then get a letter from my credit card company that says the only way they could pursue the dispute futher was if I would send back ALL the parts. This was required at the request of the merchants (Alphanex) bank. Friggin' Regulation Z and E in the banking industry drove this action. From what my credit card company said, this was the merchants banks call and if I wanted to go any further on getting the $56 back, I would have to ship ALL the parts back. Well, if I did that, my system would be down and I'd have to spend another $300 or more to get the same parts to get back up and running. So, bottom line is I'm disappointed with the whole experience and I'll eat the $56 loss and chalk it up to a bad experience with a substandard company. Fair warning to all: DO NOT BUY FROM ALPHANEX UNLESS YOU WANT TO SUFFER ALOT OF TIME, STRESS AND EXPENSE. Rest assured, before I buy from a reseller again, I'll hit Reseller Ratings first!! Good luck to those of you who have alot more riding than I did. Hope things turn out.
