Alpine White Reviews

Scam
This is a scam, now in the UK. You purchase a kit for £2.95. Then despite cancelling "subscription and cancelling your debit card and calling company to cancel and being issued with a cancellation reference number, I had two amounts taken from my account totalling £81.46 on Dec 1. I called the customer care number of their UK operation and got nowhere. I asked for the address of the UK branch and she said she did not have it but would ring me back. She did not. I have reported them to government Consumer Direct office.

unauthorized charges
Many months ago, a friend recommended I try a free trial of tooth whitening product. I ordered, thought better of it, and cancelled within the required time. No sample arrived.
However, my credit card was charged. I called Alpine White again and told them not to send product or charge my card. My credit card company reversed the charge. A few months go by, I get an unknown charge, for $49.99, by a new billing name. Again my card company reverses the charge. Several more months go by, I get an unknown charge, from what sounds like a home improvement company. My credit card company gives me a credit. A few days later, Alpine White arrives from a new location. The scam is that they charge you credit card and hope you won't notice it. Very dishonest company.

Somebody needs to stop them
In response to the defense of Alpine White, Everwhite, IBuildWealth, Online Health. This company, whatever its real name is, is obviously doing dirty business. If you are an honest company, you don't advertise in big letters that this is a free trial and then in little tiny letters say this isn't really the deal. Every company that does do free trials of this sort will make every effort to make sure you understand the terms. These people obviously have made every effort to make sure you don't understand. Even when you call customer service, they skirt around everything. They are hurting people who cannot afford it. Somebody needs to stop them.

Unauthorized charges
I foolishly responded to an offer for $1.95. which did eventually show up. I have never used this product to date and do not intend to do so now. However I have since been contacted by the "company" (?) by telephone who said they would send me an extra tray as a bonus. I said OK - again foolishly. Today separate charges for $4.95 and $49.95 have shown up on my account. I tried to contact them online ( the only offer of contact) and was told it is a fraudulent name using another company's name & address! So I have no means of contacting them. I plan to put a stop on the charges from my end and cancel my credit card.

SCAM: Customer Serice Numbers "Disconnected"
Had the same experience as brittrinla & ken anthony (who commented on Dimecat's post). Upon calling their "Customer Service Department" (1-888-694-9257) to request an RMA #, I found that the number was disconnected. I managed to find one other number (1-866-279-8986) and that number was "temporarily disconnected."

Here's some of the links they use to hook you:
- A story about a schoolteacher that whitened her smile for under $3: http://consumertipreport.com/Teeth-Whitening/?t202id=392&t202kw=cpx
- Alpine White's website: https://www.alpinewhiteteeth.com/r/0002/Default.aspx
- Basically all the reviews found when searching on Google (they paid people to write them): http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&q=%22alpine+white%22+review&btnG=Search

Bottom line, Alpine White (formerly "Ever-Brite") is a SCAM & if you ordered anything from them, you should call your bank/credit card company immediately & ask for your card/account number to be changed/canceled & reissued. Also tell them that Alpine White is a scam company so that they can at least keep it in their records & check up on it.
