I was contacted by ARM on Monday 10-19-09 and was told I was a co-signer on a default loan in the amount of $29, 000.00. The person calling was named Tracy. I told her I had never co-signed any loan and she refused to listen to me. She told me my current resident address and that she had driven by and it would suffice for a lien to satisfy the co-signed loan in default. I tried in vain to tell her that I had 3-4 problems in the past 20 years with another individual with my same name and real estate/landlord problems, but she claimed this co-signed loan was with my husband. I told her I had never been married and she merely stated "Oh yeah, right." She kept asking my lawyer's name to send the info to and I kept telling her I didn't have a Lawyer nor was I going to get one, she had the wrong person. She talked over me and was very rude. I finally got so upset I hung up. She called again on 10-21-09 and stated she needed my lawyers' name. I again told her she had the wrong person to no avail. She then called me "sweetie" and I lost it. I did curse at her that I was not her sweetie. For the next 20 minutes I relayed personal information to prove her wrong. I demanded an apology when I knew she would find out I WAS RIGHT. We hung up and 10 minutes later she called back and apologized and said she had found the right Judy Conley. I received a letter on 10-23 dated 10-20 from ARM.

we have recently received a demand for payment which we do not know where or to whom we owe the money from. the demand for payment says " you have ignored or refused our demand for immediate payment of your debt" but they did not state the name of the agency/merchant we owe the money from and this is the first time we have received this notice from them. the threat was they stated " we may begin an asset/debt investigation on you if no payment or response is received. pls investigate this agency because i think it is not fair for them to send this collection notice without stating the merchant/agenyc/person where we owe the money from.
