dealer complaint August 18, 2009
complaint against Fairdeal Cars Pvt. Ltd
I bought a Maruti Alto LXi from M/s Fairdeal Cars Pvt Ltd, 485 A, Main G T Road, Jhilmil INDL Area, Delhi-110095 on 14-08-2009.
I would want to highlight the manner in which i was fleeced. Instead of providing 5litres of petrol, the vehicle had less than a litre of it. When insisted upon by the salesman to get more petrol filled up from nearest of petrol pump, while expressing his apprehension that the car may not reach far if not filled, I got suspicious. On persistent querries, i was told, it had only 1litre petrol in it.
This is deplorable and cheap dealing. Needs to be stopped immediately.
Further when I asked the attendants to show the level of engine oil and gear oil, I was informed that the level of these oils should be midway between the mark indicated on the level indicator strip and its bottom most tip. Whereas I later gathered that the right level of oil is up to the mark indicated on the level strip and not midway as I was given to understand.
These are bad cases of cheating being indulged into, at least by M/s Fair Deal Cars Pvt. Ltd., I do not know about the other dealers, which need to be checked and corrected immediately. Considering the customer turn over at these showrooms such cheating would assume the proportion of a full scale scam if carefully probed.
It would be appreciated if Maruti Suzuki could issue general instructions to all their car dealers (and give wide publicity to such instructions) that the dealer shall arrange to fill the car petrol tank with 5 ltrs of measured petrol in front of the customer and not somewhere in the private. Similarly, the engine oil, gear oil and brake oil should also be filled in presence of the customer. I would appreciate if immediate stern action is taken against M/s Fair Deal Cars Pvt. Ltd. in this matter under intimation to me.
If, Maruti Suzuki intends to verify the level of engine oil, gear oil and brake oil in my car, they are welcome to send their representative for verification at a mutual convenient time after consulting me over my mobile no. 986854800.
Transparency is a casualty, customer is a loser.
In the interest of fair trade practices, Maruti Suzuki need to wake-up and take right action against such dealers to save consumer interest.

Water Leakage from Wind Sheild bidding
I haver purchased ALTO LXI on from Chougole Industries Ltd, Pune Stara Road Branch.

Delivery taken on 10.02.08, ( MH!12 EM 6694)

On 20.03.08, in pune we had average rainfall, during this i had heavy water leakage from four Wind sheild bidding, to an extend that i had to use Plastic Bag to avoid flooding inside the car from Roof.

All four Wind Sheild Glass was closed, checked multiple times, but water leakage was internal from Wind sheild Bidding.

This is surprise how it was not checked during Wash ( Shower ) ckeck inside plant.

Please request to get this sloved fast, since rainy seasons is approaching. And I can not use the car.

Thanks,

Paresh.
