I placed my order on Order Placed: February 23, 2008 at 12:45:00 AM PST. The post Office showed the item delivered on March 3rd. I called the 1-877 tel# on the website. I was told by Ree that all reshipments were done by United States Postal Service and they would take care of it. I called the post office on March 17th they confirmed that the package was delivered and let me know because the package WASN’T insured they were not responsible. I called Amazing Lace once more and spoke to Ree, I let her know what the post office said and she told me she was going to reship the items. When I checked back they changed their story.
After some back and forth; they would not credit my card for the lost items and did not want to send a replacement. This was their response: “The Postal Service does not make these delivery times and dates up for they are a pretty legitimate business! In the four years we have been shipping to our customers online, all over the world, thousands of packages they have provided us with an abundance of accurate deliveries!” -so you mean to tell me that the post office is always right and that I’m out my money. C’mon lady they lost my package, and you didn’t insure it. If this company would’ve insured my package they could have filed a claim with the post office for reimbursement.
The Bottom line is - the overall customer service of this company when something goes wrong, is rancid at best. My Package was lost package, and the company couldn’t give me my money back, or replace the order all together. According to them it was my fault that the package was lost. The Owner CHIRISSY, isn’t professional, and didn't handle the situation with any business sense or customer service. If your product is ever lost, you are screwed.
