unauthorized charges
I signed up for "'information" from Google ATM, which I quickly learned was a mistake. The first contact I had, a phone call, came after my "trial period" had ended. The next day I received another phone call from Google ATM. The call the day before turned out to be another business that had gotten my info from Google ATM. That is when I started questioning this offer. I found that on the seventh day after I had requested information, I was charged a monthly fee, even though I had received nothing up to that point. I canceled my "membership" immediately, but getting the charges on the credit card refunded has been unsuccessful so far. A month later, I have found new charges from two other websites for which I was told I had signed up, even though that is absolutely false. I had not even been to these websites. My email and credit card information must have been sold/shared with them by Google ATM. I received emails with access info, but never used it, never activated an account. I called both, and the first one was canceled and I am waiting to see if the promised refund will show up on the credit card statement. The other is the problem. I called the number provided in the email from Amazing WebStores. I think I was able to cancel the account, but was told that I had signed up for it, so I couldn't get a refund. No exceptions - they have a "strict policy, " I was told. When I asked who I could contact about this, the line went dead. I have searched for contact information, but the only contact they want is from those who want to sign up. Any legitimate business should have a way of contacting them with questions or complaints. I also searched Amazon.com, and they don't have any way to contact them, except concerning my Amazon account. I have always liked buying on Amazon. Now I am not so sure I want to give them my business any more.
