I ordered one SCSI CD-R drive which was bundled with the Adaptec CD-Creator software and the wire to connect the CD-R drive to the sound card. What I received was a CD-R drive made by a different manufacturer than what I ordered that didn't even work (was completely dead - would not respond to connected power in any way), no CD-Creator software, and a wire that didn't even mate up to their own CD-R drive.

I sent the whole thing back after calling and getting an RMA number. Three weeks later I got their second attempt. This time I got a CD-R drive that did work this time (but was still from another manufacturer than what I ordered and from what their website was advertising), the wire did indeed mate up to the CD-R drive this time, but still no CD-Creator software.

I called and called and e-mailed and e-mailed. I kept a log and it amounted to about 4 to 5 attempted contacts per day. I was always polite, no SCREAMING CAPITALS in my e-mails or profane language of any kind.

Finally after about a week they did return a phone call (they would never answer the phone, it was always on an automated answering system), and they promised to send the CD-Writer software out that day. No apologies.

That was six months ago. I still have never received the software that I paid for.

This was without a doubt the absolute worst service I have ever received from a business of any kind. I will never patronize their business again, and I would strongly recommend that you think twice before ordering anything from Amazingvalue.com.
