Amazon.com seller account policy extortion
Amazon.com seller policy really extorts new sellers. I first opened a seller account on Amazon.com for about a month. I finally made a sell which I accordingly fulfilled as specified by Amazon.com. Amazon.com figured out the shipping amount but in reality when I brought it to UPS...it charged me more than what the Amazon credited me for shipping (so I take my lost #1). When I entered my bank account after a sell for later disbursement of what I sold, Amazon.com suspended my account indicating I violated its policy without telling me what I actually violated so, as a result, it closed my store and it forbid me from further selling on its website (so I take my lost #2) but the stink of it was (after it got its cut on the sell & everything) Amazon.com held my money hostage for months (so I take my lost #3) even though they got my credit card and bank information when I signed up for the seller account in an event the buyer needs a refund. I'm just an individual seller who is buying it web space as a vehicle to perform my business. I can guaranteed what I sell for 30 days not forever like the big companies and I have my credit card info in my account as a guaranteed. My question is, "Why are they still holding my money hostage?" Are they keeping these funds from sellers so they can meet their bottom line when it comes to their financial reports??? The last stock quote I got for Amazon.com is about $84. Are trying to play this tactic to boost their stock price??? It treat first time seller like a criminal and it's unprofessional!!!

UPS shipping is crap
I have given Amazon a lot of business. I get upset having UPS deliver my expensive things. The first Amazon person told me she contacted shipping and everything was fine. She asked me to write a thank you note. Then I found out UPS was continuing to deliver my stuff. They said when things are a certain price range they have no choice to use UPS. I told the second person to pass it on. I will try my best not to shop at Amazon.

Delivery of Products
This has happened to me 2 times in less than 6 months and 2nd in a row. Last time, I ordered a third party seller book, after the delivery date, I haven't gotten any status. My credit card was charged on the date that I ordered the book. When I contacted the seller, he responded he didn't receive payment from Amazon so he was not going to send me anything. I contacted Amazon and got my order canceled.
This time, I ordered another third party seller's book. Again, no status. I sent an contact seller email thru Amazon. I haven't gotten any response. My college class starts tonight.
DON'T ORDER THIRD PARTY BOOKS IF YOU DON'T HAVE PATIENT. AND BE SURE TO FOLLOW UP BECAUSE WITH MY EXPERICE, I DONT' TRUST AMAZON NO MATTER HOW POPULAR THEY ARE.
If you order book from Amazon, seems to be ok, but you have to pay premium. I guess that is how they get the people to buy from Amazon instead of 3rd party seller.
O, need to further mention, I didn't get great responses from non-US 3rd party sellers. I dont' know why. I think Amazon is trying to protect theri own territory.

Not sent what was ordered and charge credit card twice
I ordered a book from Amazon.com. The book was never been received although they have charged my credit card. I contacted them and they told me to wait 1 more month. if still not received, then they will send the replacement right away.
Without my consent they try to charge my credit card 2nd time. But I have hold any charge from Amazon to my credit card account to avoid a fraud.
When I asked my they charge my credit card 2nd time, they said the first order has been refunded to my credit card account. I checked my bank, no refund at all. After 5 emails or so with different persons replied to me, now they want my credit card bank statement so they can help to contact my bank and talk to the authorised person.
I have asked them to email me the scaned copy of the postal receipt which they've never given me.
Amazon.com is a fraud. I'm so dissapointed. Is there any law to protect us from this kind of scam ?
How come this company is public listed ?

Author Central
I have been trying for over a year to get books I own the rights to delisted from this Amazon site because they are OUT OF PRINT. Recently I discovered that the same books are still on my Author Central page. When I contacted them again about this they said they could not remove them. This creates an extremely stupid and avoidable situation, in which there is the impression that these books can be supplied later, when in fact they can't. Avoid using Author Central as a "social" network if you have any books listed with Amazon, no matter if they say it is the best place to be. They are lying. To date Amazon has continually interefered with authors wanting to clean out their closets and start with books which are actually in print, and inconvenienced many of their customers beside.

Seller Account
I have held an Amazon.com account for years and have made many purchases. On Monday I registered as a seller in order to sell some books. Monday evening I received an email stating that my account had been blocked because they had associated it with another account that had been blocked. They refused to give me any information as to why it had been blocked or what I could do to correct the matter.

I called customer service and was told to use email to correspond with the Seller Performance Team. After sending an email asking for more information they again refused to give me any information, simply stating that they had decided to permanently block my account and that they would no longer respond to communication from me.

I wish to know how to correct whatever they have deemed so wrong with my account. To my knowledge my account has always been in good standing and this completely blindsided me. I have always been a responsible online buyer and seller and to be told that my account has been blocked and not given a reason is very insulting. If this matter is not resolved I will no longer do business with Amazon.com and will be sure to spread the word.

Frustrated and upset
I ordered two packs of eneloop batteries sold by and shipped by Amazon. It was some months before I opened the second pack and there were only 6 batteries in the package (no way to determine that without cutting the package open). I have spent half an hour trying to find a way to communicate with Amazon about this and there appears to be none. Frustrated and upset.

Terrible service
When the product price changes before delivery they rather have me refuse the item on delivery and reorder the same item at a lower price than to reimburse the difference.

Ripped off
DO NOT BUY USED GAMES FROM AMAZON.COM!!!

Many Used Games will not activate. The manufacturers only allow a limited number of install/activations and will not reset this for you if you purchase a used game!!! Amazon knows this and still sells the games...INTENTIONALLY CHEATING AND ROBBING THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!

I bought 4 games for my kids to play this summer. 3 out of 4 will not activate. Amazon wants me to send them back to 3 different shippers and hope for credit. I already paid as much in shipping as the used games cost. Now I must ship again??? DON'T BE CHEATED. DON'T BUY USED GAMES FROM AMAZON!!!

**Update**
I have just learned that they not only know about the activation problems, but they quickly remove any review or posting on their site from anyone who tries to warn others about this rip-off. BEWARE!!!

blocked my sellers account for NO reason
I just recently set up a sellers account on amazon. They randomly suspended my account after it not being open for more than 2 hours, stating that my account is related to an account which has been previously blocked for violations of their policies. I have asked them what is going on, why I am blocked, how they can relate me to someone elses account, and that I think I deserve details on this. Funny thing is, I have never sold on Amazon before. Amazon however REFUSES to provide detailed information, much less ANY information on how they linked my account to someone elses blocked account. They will only say they have "significant evidence" my account is related to a previously blocked account. Well, what evidence do they have and to whos account?? I do not understand this. I think it is completely unfair to block me for something I am not responsible for. Also, you cannnot reach headquarters by phone, nor can you reach the Amazon sellers support by phone. This is complete bullsh**!!
