They recruit anybody off of Careerbuilder.com. I was an agent/producer for three months last summer. My contract got terminated because I haven't made any sales. Fair enough, that's a rational reason to let someone go but what really made me angry is they did not tell me about how unsatisfied they are with my poor performance. Instead of being professionals and letting me know this in person and figuring out ways to improve, they called me on my phone to let me go. These people are far from professionals, just amateurish theives who are happy to take your $250 start up cost. I wouldn't be surprise if the RSL makes bank off of new recruits.
What is very strange about America's Business Benefit Association is after I was let go, I still got emails from the RSL, Bruce Tripp, wanting me to come in for a job interview. I got four emails total from Careerbuilder asking me to come in for a job interview. Looks like they also don't keep track of who is let go and recruited.
Their training is a joke. You get two days a week to train in the RSL's office and work off of a script in front of him and others for 2-4 hours. These internet "phone leads" were old and outdated. It was more like cold calling than anything else. Might as well get a Yellowpages directory book out.
