Like others of you, I received a phone call from a man with a heavy Indian accent informing me of a case against me being in heard in court tomorrow. He claimed the name Sam Parker. He proceeded to read a affidavit to me and tell me some personal information with I refused to verify. Some information correct...some not.

He demanded my attorney information. I refused.

He threatened to send the information to my employer. I said 'go ahead.'

He demanded a call from my attorney by Friday. I told him he would most definately receive a call from my attorney and he would take care of them too.

I then told him I needed to speak to someone else I could understand. He transferred me to someone claiming the name Frank Jefferson. He went through all of it again.

The most hilarious part of all this is that I asked him what time zone he was in and he told me there was people there at night. I told him that was great but was not the answer to my question. I said 'you are in California right?' He said he was. I said 'ok, it is 8:48pm here. What time is it there?' He said it was 7:48. Well, anyone should be able to figure out that the time difference in the east and west coast is not 1 hour.

Idiots...and complete crap. But, I am calling my attorney, my bank, and have already filed a complaint with the FTC.

Please, don't anyone fall for this.
