We have a 2000 dodge grand caravan sport that needed a new engine. my husband found this company that we thought was reputable. We got an estimate of $21oo which in the end turned into $3000. That was just the start. We picked up the van a week later than expected. Ran fine. Few days later the "engine" light came on. We took it back they jiggled some wires and said something was loose and it was all fixed. A few days later it came on again, and the van started shaking when we drove it. I took it back. Ray the owner seemed irritate that i had brought it back even though it is under warranty. He took a look and said it was the O2 censor so he fixed it. before we even pulled into our driveway the engine light came back on!! We couldn't take it back down that day because they had closed for the weekend. Wednesday came around and the engine light was coming and going. so i took a chance and ran it through emissions while it was off. didn't pass. I drove it directly to american engine and ray told me he wasn't responsible for it passing emissions and said he would take a look at it again as if he was doing me a favor!! I told him if it was a new engine it shouldn't have a problem passing emissions! 3 weeks went by and they finally called and told us to come and get the van there was nothing they could do for us and they wanted us to pay $30 for gas they put in it to drive it around to supposedly pick up parts for the van that they couldn't and didn't fix!! They also are terrible at communication. We had to constantly call and ask about any updates on the van. They would never return calls!! We gave them $3000 for nothing!! I have a warranty and they wont even honor it!!
