American Heart Association CPR Training

CPR Certification Courses
The American Heart Association makes a "business" out of selling "CPR Training Certification", but when asked for a simple request, "Would you please put the correct spelling of my name on my 2-year CPR Certificate?", are unable to comply stating "We subcontract all of this to others".
Remarkably, repeated requests to the American Heart Association went unresponded to.
To date, my time and effort in completion of the American Heart Association CPR training is for noght, as my "certification" has a grossly mispelled name that is unusable to me.
Chose your donation dollars, and CPR training dollars, wisely!

Unethical ,unprofessional and disrespectful solicition of donation
This is a complaint against the American Heart Association and their disgraceful way to solicit donations. My 80 year old father passed away in my arms in the Intensive Care Unit in the hospital where I work on March 23, 2008 Easter Sunday. One of my realtives sent a memorial in his name at that time, which I appreciated. My father and I had a wonderful relationship, I micro managed all of his medicals issues and I oved him very much .
One and a half years later I recieve a solicitaion addressed to my father and family name in care of myself. Inside were decorative stickers with my father and family name with happy anniversary, happy birthday ETC. ( his birthday would have been the month before) I find this appalling that a good enity would stoop so low to get a $15 donation. I find it wrong on every level, unethical, unprofessional, and very Disrepectful. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the Registrar of Charitable Trusts, Attorney General's Office California and have called the local and national American Heart Assn as well as written to the the director of Fundraising and Donations but no one has answered me. I do not believe that this a computer generated or a data base problem. It is a malicious attempt to play on the emotions of people who have lossed a close relative, it is disgusting and I have lossed much respect for this association. mgarozzo, sacramento
