We were promsed superior cabinets and received inferior cabinets. We were promsied once they began our kitchen, the crew would not stop before the work was completed. There has never been a crew, most of the work as been done by one man. Tuesday, June 21, will be the beginnin of the fourth week we have been out of our kitchen. The work is not even half done at this point, yet this makes the fourth day that no one has shown-up to work on our kitchen remodel. The compnay has stages of work that they are to complete before they receive payment. They have demanded payment twice for work that has not been completed and stated that they would not continue until these payments have been made. Their own checklist and contract indicates that payment is not due until the listed work has been completed. Their sales pitch is great and we were promised a very low stress experience is our kitchen remodel. The process has been anything but low stress. In fact it is the worst contractor experience that I have had in my life and I am 55 years old.

Can't say enough about this place! I am so impressed with the quality of workmanship and professionalism. Thank you so much for your communication through out the entire process.

I can't speak for everyone else's experiences, but our kitchen is beautiful. With American Kitchen Corporation we got so much more out of our kitchen budget than we expected. When we'd only planned on replacing cabinets and countertops, we ended up getting floors replaced as well, for less than we expected for the total project. We also expected a lot of little (or big) problems, like a lot of other kitchen renovations, but this entire process has been great. Everyone was professional, and they did what they said they would do. Way to go guys! Thanks for my kitchen!

These people truly know business. I'm posting this here because they provided me with the best service and the most amazing kitchen I've ever had. I actually found them on this board, read some of the other complaints, and thought "there is no way" Come to find out, they were exceptional business men and women and completely gave me the respect I deserved.

American Kitchen Corporation is the same outfit from Dothan Alabama that sells ketchup with vermin in it. Same name, but now they have a plant in Almanace, North Carolina.
They make the food for restaurants and a lot of the generic food from grocery stores. They were caught with vermin in their ketchup down in Dothan, their quality control is terrible they don't pay any decent wages so they get the worst help so there is not any wonder their food stinks. The center for disease control has shut them down again and again, and they open new plants to stay ahead.
All the major fast food places use their lettuce and their sauces like BBQ sauce, kethcup, soysauce and pretty much anything. They make those little egg patties they put on fast food breakfast biscuts, what they don't tell you is that they add water to the eggs to save money, it's not just real egg, which is why it always tastes funny, like really fluffy.
Thats the extra water they add so it goes farther, but it cooks out, but thats how they get you. You don't think they can sell those biscuts for 99 cents and make any money do you? Thats why they add water to the eggs and get them all from AmKiCo.
I have feelling if peopel knew what was in their food, they would just not eat at all. I used to work at a chicken rendering plant and it aint pretty. Thsoe chickens are pretty much all dead when we get done with them. I say a chicken with two heads once. I seen lots of them with no heads at all. Do you know what we called a chicken with no head? Dead bird walking. Do not eat American Kitchen Corp food by any means, and don't work there. I think they put actual dirt in their gravy to save money.
