Terrible company
On Thursday 2/5/9 I signed a sales agreement with American kitchen refacing Inc.. The contract states: YOU MAY CANCEL THIS TRANSATION, WITHOUT ANY PENALTY OR OBLIGATION, WITHIN THREE BUSINESS DAYS FROM THE ABOVE DATE. I did cancel the contract within three business days and received a signed receipt acknowledging this fact from American kitchen refacing Inc. on Monday 2/9/9. My deposit of Thirteen hundred dollars ($1, 300.00) has not been returned to me as stated in the contract that the deposit is to be fully refunded within ten business days following receipt of the cancellation notice. I attempted to contact American kitchen refacing Inc. at 11am and again at 12noon on Friday 2/20/9 both times I reached a answering machine. At 12:10 I called Service Magic inc. (an on line contractor provider from which I got American kitchen refacing Inc. as a contractor) the same day and they called and reached American kitchen refacing Inc. and it was relayed to me that a check would be going out and for me to follow up with a telephone call on Monday 2/23/9 to see if I received the check. Monday passed and I did call up on 2/24/9 at 10am left a message tried again at 10:40 and said that they will file a complaint and at the same time Service Magic Inc. telephoned American kitchen refacing Inc. and relayed to me that a check went out on Monday 2/23/9 also that American kitchen refacing Inc. called me on Friday 2/20/9 to tell me tha a check would be mailed out on Monday 2/23/9. No one from American kitchen refacing Inc. contacted me since I cancelled the contract on 2/9/9. ON 2/26/9 I contacted Service Magic Inc. they asked me to wait until 2/27/9. I contaced Service Magic Inc. on 2/27/9 and again they asked me to wait over the weekend. On 3/2/9 I left a message with Service Magic Inc. and they returned my call to say that they would file a complaint with American kitched refacing Inc. but that they could not force them to return my deposit.
